Why don't doctors tell their statin patients this? Now, if you're over 40, you need Ubiquinol, the better absorbed form of CoQ10 for older folks. The doctor didn't know this either. I've been buying this for my husband since we got married 4 yrs ago. He didn't know he needed it with statin use. So I shopped for what looked like would be the best absorbed ubiquinol. This is also an energy boost for him, so I will keep on buying this brand.

I have been through multiple diagnostic tests(ekg, stress tests, echocardiograms, & holter monitors) and could not find the root cause. After a lot of research, I decided to greatly limit my caffeine intake and begin taking the Qunol Mega CoQ10(100mg) supplement daily. Within a few days, I went from counting 6-7 irregular heartbeats(with a stethoscope) within a 3 minute timeframe, to virtually none. He explained how to get the needed dosage we'd have to take 2 or 3 of the CO Q 10 pills because of that medicine's poor absorption. Our regular MD never said anything about that. Shame on him! I can feel it being assimilated throughout by body, right after taking with a glass of water.
