Initially what attracted me to it was the fact that it helps maintain the elasticity of the arteries. Since then I've learned about the many other benefits it can provide for someone like me. Also, apparently, It does its best work while you sleep. So I take it after dinner.

I did tell the cardiologist I was taking it and they didn't tell me NOT to take it. I had a mitral valve repair 6 weeks ago. Been on the Qunol CoQ10 for about 6 months. I started doubling up (200mg) about 2 months ago. My recovery has been excellent. Dr. says he "couldn't be more pleased" at my recovery. So I'm betting that it IS helping my heart heal faster.

I began taking your Ubiquinol 6 years ago because my research told me that the active form Co Q10 was better absorbed than the regular Co Q10. My cardiologist took me off the statin drug 1 1/2 years ago, but I still continue to take your Ubiquinol because I know it continues to aid in my Heart Health. I recommend this to many people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because I have a family history of heart problems, I have been taking 200 mg. a day of ubiquinol for several years. Last year, I had a triple bypass. The surgeons, who performed my CABG operation, could not believe my heart had an ejection fraction of 55-60%, reported from a presurgical echocardiogram, when I had three coronary arteries blocked up to 96%. They attribute my survival and continued extrodinary heart strength for being 74, to taking Qunol ubiquinol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have read some research to know that Ubiquinol or COQ10 is important to take with statins, and the claim is that this brand, Qunol, is more absorbable. I have been using it for the last year. I'm not sure if the capsules really need to be red, but I don't see a dye listed in the ingredients. It would be much better if you didn't package it in a huge cardboard box, twice the size of the bottle. It's wasteful, and not needed, even though it can be recycled. I might look into a brand that just sells the bottle without a huge box.

But when I have skimped on the quality by buying cheaper stuff or those with less Q-10 in them my Blood pressure sky rockets. even when I tried to get by with just one a day a few years back it went 15 points higher. When I used another product that was not BOTH water and fat soluble (fat only) I could still feel the negative energy difference and I eat a higher fat diet anyway. I am convinced my life depends on this product.

I read about Qunol products and I like that they are better absorbed into your body. Why take a supplement if it doesn't absorb. I like that this product sees absorption into the body as an important factor because not all products are the same. I have not had any side effects. It seems to be a very good product.
