Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and have been trying to clean out any ingredients that could cause problems for me. I was disappointed to find 2 ingredients in your capsules that could cause problems for me. Polysorbate 80 and and Sorbitol have been implicated as potential triggers for IBD and substances that I should avoid. I don't understand why there needs to be an artificial sweetener and a filler in a capsule that is swallowed and not chewed. I am afraid I will not be able to continue to use it as I clean up my system.

After reading about the benefits this could have on my heart I decided to add it to my daily routine. I feel like I am taking an additional step in being proactive in my heart health.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was told by my neurologist to take 600mg a day for mitochondrial myopathy for about 15 years. i recently lowered the dosage to 300 mg a day and then 200mg a day and now I am down to 100mg a day and dont notice any difference except I do get more palpitaions than on the higher dose. I used to take co-q10 but switched to this one which I think is better. It is too costly for me to stay on the recommended dosage being on social security. I know my health matters but when you cant afford it you cant afford it. I wish it were at a more reasonable price.

I also am 68 and know that as we age our natural ability to produce CoQ10 decreases. I take a statin for cholesterol control and statins are know to lower our natural CoQ10 levels. So I want the best form of CoQ10 available. I use this product because Qunol's form of CoQ10 is soluble in both fats and water so its bio-availability in the body is significantly better than all other forms of CoQ10 on the market which are only fat soluble. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to take 200mg regular CoQ10 as I take statin medication; without this I tend to get cramping in my hands, feet, and calves. But with Qunol Ubiquinol I find that only 100mg goes much farther and is 3 times more effective.
