Like having the bagel button to toast bagels just right, and the lever to lift toast and bagels higher up to make removal easier. It is also stylish looking.

We love how much capacity it has as well as how it has individual toasting features. I have never had a Kitchenaid appliance that wasn't worth spending the money. They always stand the test of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use a toaster every day. After trying many brands of toasters, the only one that lasted for any time was the Kitchen Aid Brand. The slots are wide enough for my favorite brand of English Muffins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] although I do wish that it was offered in black stainless to match my other appliances. I am very happy with this toaster. I like that it has a light up indicator to show that the unit is cooking and that there is such a variety of toasting levels. I used to have to crank up the setting on my old toaster in order to toast thicker breads, but this one toasts even thick hearty bread on the medium setting. The beeping noise when the toasting is complete is nice since I have a tendency to be doing other things while using it; although in the morning the beep is a bit loud. Also, the cord holder on the bottom of the unit make is easy to hide excess length to keep counters clear and clutter free. When I ran it through a cycle the first time (without food in it), the toaster did smell (I have had this experience with other toasters as well). But since then, any strange smells have vanished.

There are a lot of less expensive cheaply made toasters out there but they do not offer the same features nor do they toast as evenly from my experiences. This toaster will stay in my kitchen for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is an amazing toaster. it is absolutely beautiful and goes so well with stainless steel appliances. the features are wonderful and are not on all toasters. you never erally realized you wanted them till you got them with this product. i never had a toaster where the crumbs were so eay to clean out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old Cuisinart toaster that was getting old and not working well any more, my new KitchenAid toaster is far superior in every way to my old toaster, even when it was new! A great product! Just like all my other KitchenAid products!!!

This does a fine job toasting bread, bagels etc. The functionality is straight forward and easy to use. The built in cord storage feature is poorly designed. We instead manually coil the cord around our hand then tuck it into one of the toasting slots when the device is not in use.
