[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually received this as a replacement on a digital toaster that kept shorting out. I didn't know if I was going to like this one because I couldn't tell when the toast was going to be done, but it works fine. With the old toaster when I set the controls to the #2, my toast would get darker on one side and lighter on the other side. I put the new toaster on number 2 and it made it a little too dark for me. So the next time I made toast I put it on number one and it makes toast to the perfectly.

Like having the bagel button to toast bagels just right, and the lever to lift toast and bagels higher up to make removal easier. It is also stylish looking.

This worked out perfectly, as I offered them toast, bagels and English muffins. They could toast them to their own preferences, without instruction or hassle.

Toast was always cold or as hard as a rock. Kitchen Aid has always been a stand out brand as far as quality and ease of use to me. I also own a stand up mixer and always enjoy using that so I was thrilled to find a toaster from the same brand and due to it's quality I wasn't hesitant to purchase this toaster. We really enjoy this toaster now and love that we can make 4 pieces of bread all in one shot. The quality of the toast is over the top with the ability to dial up or down for desired color. I can even walk away to make the coffee and be assured my bread will pop up when finished and I can hear the beep to know it's indeed ready from the next room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slightly better than average heating elements. Very weak depression lever, requires a least two attempts to seat and actuate the heating elements. While interesting, the finished toasting notification seems silly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do love my toaster, it took me few days to make my husband agree to buy it from KitchenAid, but when I took him to the store and we compared different companies, KitchenAid was the sturdiest one. We love quality of it, the buttons works and it does it's job in general. It took us a while to figure out which level put our breads on, but now we are happy users.

A great product! Just like all my other KitchenAid products!!!

The cons would be that it's really big and takes up a lot of counter space. It also nearly burns bread at level 3, so if you like light toast and bagels, don't crank it past 2.
