Tastes good when it's a fresh pick. But some stores may overstock it with stale bags facing front. Make sure you look at the package's experation date. And then smell it. Don't order this online at the store or have someone pick one up for you. You might get a stale bag. You've been warned.

We have been buying this coffee since one the first bags went on the shelf at Sam's. The manufactuer was there doing a sampleling. One small cup and we were converted. The coffee is rich and has the best flavor. When I have to drink other brands, my day is nver the same.

I really wanted to like this coffee because of the reduced acid. The beans, first off, didn't have that coffee smell. The coffee looked like tea....very weak. I tried using more coffee and the strong setting..just no taste. Unless you happen to like weak coffee...pass this by and save your money

I've had alot of different roasts from big box stores (mweh), grocery stores (mweh), boutique grocery stores (50/50 great or ok), and local roasters (always quality and just in the realm of taste preference). These beans are on par with what I typically get from local roasters.

I bought this as as alternative to the Buck's jamaican blue mountain, because the package stated low acid, as coffee in general can sometimes cause me tummy problems. I'm very happy with the taste. as to a reviewer who said this coffee is weak, that person perhaps should adjust the coffee and water levels to suit their taste. after doing some research I found out that the darker roasts can be a little weaker. however I didn't need to adjust the levels at all to get a great tasting cup with this coffee. and it's a little cheaper than the Bucks County brands.

This was the third time I purchased this coffee. The first two times it was very good, smooth and balanced. This time I almost flew out of my skin because of the caffeine. My wife was actually concerned, and felt it as well. DIdn't seem like arabica, more like cheap robusta beans. GIving it or throwing it away.

Tried using my usual formula for 4 cups. 2 heaping scoops (about 60cc) color looked a little weak although I did a very fine grind. Almost no taste, very bland. Tried again using 3 scoops of coffee with similar results. Used Folgers as a control and it tasted fine with 2 heaping scoops. I’m very disappointed with this coffee I’m

I bought this because it looked Sams Club stopped selling one of our favorite coffees”Peet’s’ for a while. We fell in love with this coffee. Nice darker strong coffee with a delicious smooth flavor. Sooo.. good. Hopefully Sam's club will get it back in stock soon or ai will find it in the grocery store.

Very pleased with this purchase. Good quality and price. We grind our beans and use them for cold brew. Wish Sam's inventoried the 5lb Decaf since we need to purchase this elsewhere as we use both the regular and decaf and would purchase both in 5 lb bags if Sam's stocked those items. Sam's is our vendor of choice for the products they stock.

This is not bad coffee, just not a whole lot of flavor, and a bit bitter. It's actually better than most of the Sam's coffees, none of which I've found to be worth their 5 star ratings (most I'd give one star to). The best I've found so far has to be the Barista Brava-Barista Blend.
