This was the third time I purchased this coffee. The first two times it was very good, smooth and balanced. This time I almost flew out of my skin because of the caffeine. My wife was actually concerned, and felt it as well. DIdn't seem like arabica, more like cheap robusta beans. GIving it or throwing it away.

I bought this as as alternative to the Buck's jamaican blue mountain, because the package stated low acid, as coffee in general can sometimes cause me tummy problems. I'm very happy with the taste. as to a reviewer who said this coffee is weak, that person perhaps should adjust the coffee and water levels to suit their taste. after doing some research I found out that the darker roasts can be a little weaker. however I didn't need to adjust the levels at all to get a great tasting cup with this coffee. and it's a little cheaper than the Bucks County brands.

Very pleased with this purchase. Good quality and price. We grind our beans and use them for cold brew. Wish Sam's inventoried the 5lb Decaf since we need to purchase this elsewhere as we use both the regular and decaf and would purchase both in 5 lb bags if Sam's stocked those items. Sam's is our vendor of choice for the products they stock.

The smell of the beans was amazing but I'm used to a more robust full bodied dark roast coffee. It lacked taste and body unlike my San Francisco Bay French Roast coffee. I'll try to grind the coffee beans finer as one reviewer said and see what I come up with but as for buying again, I don't recommend it for people who want a full body flavor. There's just something missing.

A total disappointment. This brewed the worst coffee I've ever had. I have a hard time describing the flavor as there wasn't much coffee taste just more like hot nasty dishwater might taste . I brewed 3 pots and even adding more coffee beans to brew and it didn't add any taste. I've had this a few times before and liked it but this batch must have been sitting around for a few years . I will never buy this again .

This coffee is one of the best I’ve had. For those who have said it is on the weaker side you need to slow your brew down. I have not found a better roasted coffee for the price. We are Starbucks House coffee drinkers because of the consistency in flavor but this coffee compares extremely well and has surprised us with its flavor. I really enjoy every cup and look forward to trying it in my new espresso machine when it arrives in a few days. I highly recommend it!

I was concerned because this coffee is pretty inexpensive but...I'm glad I bought it. I personally like this better than Starbucks, Green Mountain, 8 O Clock and a few others. The aroma is deeper and the flavor is more pronounced. No bitterness ( Starbucks uh huh I'm talking to you) in the after-taste. The best thing is that I use less in my Keurig which, of course, extends the already great value of these java beans. I highly recommend at least trying this coffee. It's strong so you need to adjust your grind. The finer the grind, the deeper the flavor profile.

I am a coffee snob! I admit it! lol This is the only coffee I've had in my house the last 3 years with the exception of Jamacian Blue Mountain that we brought back from Jamaica. Pablo's Pride beats it to pieces!! It's the BEST coffee in the world! Love it!

This is my go to coffee everyday and has been for years. As such I have ordered hundreds of bags and drank thousands of cup of it. It represents the best value for my pallette that I could find. The flavor profile can be inconsistent and varies slightly by bag. Sometimes over roasted, the flavor can become one note. The majority of the product is just right and retains rich bean flavor, however. Even when getting a darker roasted bag, the flavor is still better than most competitors in this pricing tier who mostly are selling charcoal what once beans. I'm not sure if it is a roasting problem or a blending problem, but if they could get the flavor more reliable and keep it in the medium roasted range it would be 5 stars all day.

I've tried and read reviews of different brands of coffee, and found this brand to be the best. Sam's Club offers this coffee at a reasonable price. Sam's Club online delivers the coffee to my house, although most of the time there's a shipping fee. PS: Great that there's a moderator!
