We have always bought the non-stick cookware sets so we were a little apprehensive about buying stainless steel. However we followed the instructions and always pre-heat the pans first, with oil in them, and cook on medium heat. They will obviously stick a bit more than the non-stick version but clean up super easy, heat quickly and evenly, and are a delightful addition to our kitchen! No more flaking off of the non-stick cookware surfaces and we feel very good about that!

We bought this set to upgrade our current set (our old stainless steel pots were pitting). This is a definite upgrade over our preview set! The feel and quality of this set is exceptional. I prefer the glass lids to monitor whats cooking. My only wish is that the 2 qt. is a 2.5 qt and the 10" frying pan was a 12"...but that's what you get when you buy a set...You can't choose the sizes.

I bought these so I would have a set of matching cookware rather than the piecemeal collection I somehow ended up with over the years. This set is incredible! It works on my electric stove equally as well as when I cooked on gas burners. You cannot go wrong with this purchase!

I was very careful when deciding which cookware set to purchase. I compared prices, reviews and features. So far I am very happy with this set. The food cooks well, uses lower temperatures than I needed with my old set and cleans up very easily. I know I can put the pans in the dishwasher, but they only take a few minutes to wash up and come very clean. Once with spaghetti sauce, the pan needed the extra cleaner and it was shining like new within minutes. I am glad I purchased it.

Nice sizes for cooking anything with lids! Quality set. Pieces are heavier that the cheap stuff you find at in stores probably due to the tri-ply. I"m sure I'll get years of use out of this set. Glass lids are nice too! Remember to season your skillets to get the non-stick effect (see Youtube videos). Healthiest and safest cookware you can use.

After using non-stick pans, I wanted a change to more purity in cooking. These have a bit of a learning curve as it relates to preheating pans and using a lower temperature. Read the instructions! They help. I have a propane gas cooktop, and get better results at lower flame/temps. When it comes to cleaning, again, take the time to read the instructions! The tips really work. I am extremely pleased with the quality, weight and performance of these. Also proud to have a set of Viking brand cookware. I am certain I won’t have to replace these as often as I replace the non-stick pans I’ve been purchasing. In fact, this is probably going to last me a lifetime.

This Viking pan set is a great deal. High quality pans at a price we can afford. Be for warned these are heavier pans that hold heat evenly but they are heavier to lift and move so be prepared to manage the added weight. This was an issue with my wife who was used to our 40 year old Revere Ware pans from our wedding gifts. I bought a set of Viking skillets a couple of years ago and she wouldn't use them for the longest time but she gradually started using them and came to liking them more and more. A few months ago she came up with the idea it was time to retire our Revere Ware and get a set of the Viking pans. I wish I had bought the Viking skillets sooner. LOL

Purchased this set a few weeks ago. It’s a beautiful hefty set. Going from nonstick to stainless steel is definitely a learning curve. After much online research I am learning how to cook with these amazing pans. Low/medium heat is key, bar keepers friend will definitely be your best friend :)

Love my new set of Viking pots and pans! There was an issue with a small dent on a lid and the company replaced the lid for free. Excellent customer service! Sam’s club also gave me a gift card for my inconvenience. Sam’s club customer service was also excellent.

Haven't used it a lot yet, but so far it is great. I bought a range with an induction cooktop and needed compatible cookware. Was worried about keeping it clean and avoiding sticking, but with learning how to better cook with stainless and barkeeper's friend, it has been working well. Even fried eggs in small frying pan without a problem.
