Very good quality of pots and pans. The stay cool handles do not stay cool on the lids. No do grab them without some protection. They get just as hot as the pots.

I have some very expensive stainless steel cookware that I bought for my primary home, and I couldn’t afford to purchase the same brand for my second home, so I settled for these. They are just as good as the high end brand and I would have saved lots of money had I come across these first. I absolutely love them! They are top quality and very sturdy.

I got these to replace a 20-year-old stainless steel set , these are a very nice set very heavy duty seems to cook evenly The Covers are glass and nice looking but get very hot burned myself a little on handle on first use you must session these when you get them I would do it twice before use the way they tell you're in the booklet. then once every 6 months they will not stick so much, love the 10 inch and 8 inch Sause pans are great heavy duty but still on the fence I have used stainless steel pans for the past 20 years. these are much different. These pans will also rainbow out on you Keep plenty of barkeeper's friend on hand. that will take the rainbow out the old pan I use to wash hot, just wipe them out and they would come clean very easy no matter what I cooked these ones you have to let cool down. Or they will warp these are also not made in the USA I thought they were Viking use to be only made in the usa they seem to be a lot of work to keep clean but nice looking. I wish the smaller Sause pan was a bit smaller maybe 2 QT also for a single person cooking rice and stuff don't work well. they stain up very easy. Viking seems to have gone Chinese along with the quality.it will take you some time to get use to them. they are a good set for the money a bit more expensive here the others because I'm not a member, but others were out of them, so I got them here, . I'm sure I will like them more as I use them more, they are a very beautiful set I think I just have to learn how to cook with this good value for the money I hope they will last me the rest of my life. yes, I would recommend them. With a caution that it's going to take you some time to get use to them

I bought these a month ago after researching for a long time about what to buy. I am so glad that I chose these- they are great heavy weight, heat fast and clean up like a breeze- get some bartenders friend and you will have gleaming pots all the time! I have used the smaller sauce pans over and over and the skillets are great. The bigger pans are pretty massive and it you cook for a crowd-they will be perfect. Love the quality- the glass lids and the heavy bottoms. These are perfect! I am pretty picky and I have been so pleased by their appearance and performance.

Seemed to have gotten a dud set. There were pans with black on the inner part of the handle, and not cut/polished very smooth, and just look like terrible quality. The very first pan I took out of the box, the small fry pan, had a dent in the outer rim, I should've known then that it wasn't a good set. So far, customer service for Viking has been decent to work with. They are supposed to replace the 2 pans, but they are out of stock and will not be back in stock for months..so we will see how that goes. I debated on returning, but then I would be left with no other pots or pans to cook with, and the set isn't sold in stores. Not sure I would recommend to others. Maybe I will end up loving them..time will tell.

I love these pans they are so well made and very easy to cook on.. Always see complaints about people saying they stick and things like that, But that's because you have to learn to cook with stainless steel.. I do have many years experience working in a kitchen so that is a slight advantage, It's a skill that has to be learned.. These pans are awesome!

Bought this set for SIL for Christmas. He was a cook at a restaurant in his younger years and is amazing in the kitchen, but alas, only had a basic discount store set of cookware. I saw these in a Sam’s Holiday sale mailing I received at the house. Checked the ratings on the internet and were decent. Need to realize these aren’t to go into the dishwasher or use harsh materials to clean. Use barkeepers friend or Bon Ami cleanser after soaking any crusted on food. The pots are a good weight and if well taken care of will last a lifetime. To prevent being scratched or marked up, I suggest getting wooden utensils and/or hard black utensils. Heat distribution is very good, no hot spots. The completely flat bottoms can be used on the electro-magnetic induction heat source on the new stoves too. Love the curved lip for pouring liquid from pot or pan. Pots have demarcations of measurements on the sides to easily fill without other cups. Glass lids have a small vent release and can easily see what’s going on without removing lid. These pots rival my set of pans I paid twice as much for.

Great set for thr money, it has everything I need for every day cooking. People complaining about things sticking need to adjust to stainless steal, don't cook on high heat and use the right oil. Clean up is a breeze, I don't have to scrub anything they come no problem.

Absolutely superb quality, and beautiful as well. You do not have to use high heat at all. I can’t believe how quickly they heat up. Definitely read the use and care instructions. Food will not stick, and clean up is a breeze. I bought these because I don’t believe Teflon is healthy, in fact, I believe it’s dangerous. I highly recommend this cookware.

This set wears the Viking name proud and acts like it belongs in a pro kitchen. We are beyond thrilled with the quality and beauty of this set. My wife hasn't had the heart to put the set behind closed cabinet doors yet. Instead she keeps washing them and keeping them out as though on display. These pieces are wonderful to cook with. We love all the features of this set. The feel of the handles, the vented lids, the measurements inside the pieces and the even cooking especially. Very happy with this purchase!
