I purchased this set in January of 2022 at my local Sam's Club. It's nearly 4.5 years later and I still LOVE this cookware. I was looking to purchase another set as a gift. Unfortunately the price has now doubled, yikes! But I guess that's to be expected with how things go.. Anyhow, fantastic cookware. Nice, heavy bottoms that has held up beautifully to regular use. There is a slight learning curve for folks coming from nonstick, but its not difficult at all. If you're comfortable with cast iron, SS is a piece of cake. Otherwise, ready the insert that comes with the set. I have zero issues with food sticking and, other than a few superficial scratches from sliding them around on my gas cooktop, the finish is still perfect.

I LOVE my cookware soooo much! It is everything I hoped for. I love the three ply for the even cooking surface. But I think the feature I appreciate the most is how beautifully it cleans up. I soak them for a few minutes, use sponge with green scouring pad on back and they still look brand new!!! The steam vent and measuring lines on inside of pans are also helpful. I love this depth of the large frying pan.

Love the set. There were two imperfections on the glass lids but the warranty is taking care of it now. Please understand that there is experience/education needed in order not to ruin such professional cookware. Use bar tenders friend to maintain this cookware and remember it retains and absorbs heat easily therefore overheating is common if not familiar with such wares. Things I have noticed since using this set every day for the past two weeks: Cleans well and quikly. (Dont air dry. Use towel) Heats quikly and evenly. (Easy to overheat if unfamiliar) Retains beautiful look. (Use bar tenders friend or equivalent) Loving this product. Great price as well!

WHY did I wait so long to buy this????? I've used this set for several weeks cooking all sorts of dishes and I just LOVE this cookware! I would agree with the MFG that a 'must have' to go with this set is the Bar Keepers Friend. This cookware cleans up like a breeze.

I've been looking for Viking cookware ever since my kitchen remodel included a Viking appliance suite - this cookware is beautiful and so high quality!! I gave away every other pot I had!! Sam's website is super easy - free shipping is a definite plus!!

Bought this set for my daughter in law for Christmas and asked her for a review. She is in the culinary industry and used to cooking with top of the line equipment. She said the performance of this set exceeded her expectations and she loves them. She says the performance and quality are about the same as a set twice the price! I purchased this about 3 months ago and they are the best I have ever owned and I have had the so called best before they look great clean up great and handle cooking to perfection after some issues with a very popular and expensive we’ll know brand I purchased these and woo hoo what a fabulous find a much cheaper and way better alternative to those other brands I am a novice professional cook and will tell you don’t listen to the others who will tell you that you need the big fancy brands these cook better clean up better and cost way less people notice these immediately when entering my kitchen I use a little bar keepers friend on them and they shine up like new instantly directly after cooking they cook evenly with out burning or sticking great heat distribution perfect weight vented lids I can keep going and going Viking has put out a winner I truly expect these to go up dramatically in price once the word gets out how good they really are as I do a ton of cooking I am going to purchase a second set these will definitely be around to pass down love them but I guess you figured that out by now

They are no doubt quality pieces of cook wear! They do conduct heat well and distributes it well, they are well polished inside and are conducive to not sticking and burning. Although they are not non stick so be ready for a learning curve in using a non Teflon coating. They are great for everything up to cooking and egg, you would have to fry it. Sauté and sweats well, searing can be a sticky mess unless you use a good amount of fat. Great set no doubt will last a life time!

I've only used for a few weeks. I read online to season with vegetable oil and first time I made pancakes the oil coagulated and turned gummy and dark on areas of pan where food wasn't in direct contact. Food tends to stick and frying bacon causes spots inside. I use a soft wire scrubby to clean after using or hot water boil. Cooks evenly and you don't want to use more than medium heat as it conducts heat very well. Would recommend with advisement

Well, I wanted to give Viking 5 stars. With one glaring exception, I love this set. I received my 13 piece set on 12/9/22. On unboxing, it is a beautiful and well made set. I washed the set as instructed and seasoned the fry pans. Then my problem began. I was pre-heating the 5.2 qt sauté pan on medium heat. It warped almost immediately. Not a lot but enough. I called the CS number and was told to send and email. On 12/12, I sent the email with all instructed information. I got a quick response that I would hear back within 24 hours. I followed up on 12/15, 12/20 and 12/26. Finally on 1/3/23 I called the CS number again. I was advised that them had my claim and that they were behind and that they would get back with me asap. Again, I am pleased with this product with the exception of the 5.2 qt sauté pan. Their customer service has been poor. I will update, if and when I ever hear back.
