I purchased this set in January of 2022 at my local Sam's Club. It's nearly 4.5 years later and I still LOVE this cookware. I was looking to purchase another set as a gift. Unfortunately the price has now doubled, yikes! But I guess that's to be expected with how things go.. Anyhow, fantastic cookware. Nice, heavy bottoms that has held up beautifully to regular use. There is a slight learning curve for folks coming from nonstick, but its not difficult at all. If you're comfortable with cast iron, SS is a piece of cake. Otherwise, ready the insert that comes with the set. I have zero issues with food sticking and, other than a few superficial scratches from sliding them around on my gas cooktop, the finish is still perfect.

This set is beautiful! Thebsame exact quality as if ordering from Viking directly. It has a very nice weight & feel. Cooks beautifully, the key is heating the pans with oil before adding your food=no sticking. Definitely recommend Bar Keepers Friend too keep them beautifully shiny & felt pot separators if you need to stack them for storage. I love this set, it will last a very long time.

These are amazing in quality. The quality was evident immediately upon opening the carton. They are well built, beautiful, and should outlive me in usefulness. I've used each piece in the set and found them to provide even heat distribution throughout. I find, myself spending less time stirring and moving the food around in the pots and skillets. They are just easy to cook with. Handles are comfortable and stay cool when used on the cooktop. I use the mercury ball water test when using stainless steel cookware, so I seldom have anything stick to this type of cookware, I would recommend this set to anyone. They clean up well and have had no problem with warping.

This is my first set of stainless steel so I did a lot of research on reviews to make sure I made the right choice. I chose this Viking set based on the amount of high reviews and the fact that Viking is a well known high quality brand. That, and the fact that these were in the price range I was looking for, is what lead me to purchase. I became a Sam’s member strictly to buy this set since I couldn’t find them elsewhere online. I’ve now been cooking with this set for a few weeks and although this is my first time cooking with stainless steel, I can’t imagine how they could be any better. They have a nice weight to them, they don’t ding or dent easily, and I love the way they look. So far, I’ve cooked pastas, grilled cheese, diced potatoes, meat, etc and I’ve never had an issue cleaning them. I use barkeepers friend to keep them shiny! I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely consider this brand in the future!

Bought this set for my daughter in law for Christmas and asked her for a review. She is in the culinary industry and used to cooking with top of the line equipment. She said the performance of this set exceeded her expectations and she loves them. She says the performance and quality are about the same as a set twice the price! I bought this set for $189.99 (Holiday special)

Bought this when it was on sale. Upgrading my cookware from hard anodized to stainless steel. I've used two of the pots and the 10" skillet, as well as the stock pot with strainer, all with excellent results. It does require paying more attention to detail to avoid sticking, but its definitely worth it. I recommend this product.

In the past, my "cookware" consisted of a mismatched set of hand-me-down pots and Teflon pans looking way overdue for an update. So when I opened the Viking box and saw the shiny silver assortment of this heavy-duty, triple-ply cookware, it was a thing of beauty. Each pot and pan comes individually packaged and supported, so no need to worry of any fragile mishaps in the shipping. Best of all, each piece presents like real professional cookware, worthy of the best culinary kitchens. In fact, this 13 piece set performs so well, you actually feel like a chef while using it. The design is well thought out, with double handles, built-in measuring levels and a 3-ply material that heats your food quickly and evenly. I love the vents in the lids (no more boil overs when cooking rice) and the easy cleanup it offers. I doubt I'll be needing another set of cookware for some years to come, but if I did, I would definitely repurchase this Viking set for its aesthetics, functionality and top quality.

They are no doubt quality pieces of cook wear! They do conduct heat well and distributes it well, they are well polished inside and are conducive to not sticking and burning. Although they are not non stick so be ready for a learning curve in using a non Teflon coating. They are great for everything up to cooking and egg, you would have to fry it. Sauté and sweats well, searing can be a sticky mess unless you use a good amount of fat. Great set no doubt will last a life time!

The cookware set is very beautiful and shiny. Easy to clean and so far it didn't warped yet. I would not recommend to cook fried eggs on this cookware. They stick, and you will not get a perfect looking medium egg. I like using these cookware for sautéing veggies food, and dish with some kind of gravy or soup. the bad thing is like what I said, it is not for cooking fried eggs. the bottom of the cookware turned bluish. I think I can remove it with the right cleaning detergent/polish.

Well, I wanted to give Viking 5 stars. With one glaring exception, I love this set. I received my 13 piece set on 12/9/22. On unboxing, it is a beautiful and well made set. I washed the set as instructed and seasoned the fry pans. Then my problem began. I was pre-heating the 5.2 qt sauté pan on medium heat. It warped almost immediately. Not a lot but enough. I called the CS number and was told to send and email. On 12/12, I sent the email with all instructed information. I got a quick response that I would hear back within 24 hours. I followed up on 12/15, 12/20 and 12/26. Finally on 1/3/23 I called the CS number again. I was advised that them had my claim and that they were behind and that they would get back with me asap. Again, I am pleased with this product with the exception of the 5.2 qt sauté pan. Their customer service has been poor. I will update, if and when I ever hear back.
