I bought two sets. One for us, and one as a wedding gift. You can't compare this cookware to any other sets. The finish, the weight and the look is simply the best. The results are alway perfect. Once you learn how to cook with great Stainless Tri-Ply, you'll never go back to economy cookware.

WHY did I wait so long to buy this????? I've used this set for several weeks cooking all sorts of dishes and I just LOVE this cookware! I would agree with the MFG that a 'must have' to go with this set is the Bar Keepers Friend. This cookware cleans up like a breeze.

In the past, my "cookware" consisted of a mismatched set of hand-me-down pots and Teflon pans looking way overdue for an update. So when I opened the Viking box and saw the shiny silver assortment of this heavy-duty, triple-ply cookware, it was a thing of beauty. Each pot and pan comes individually packaged and supported, so no need to worry of any fragile mishaps in the shipping. Best of all, each piece presents like real professional cookware, worthy of the best culinary kitchens. In fact, this 13 piece set performs so well, you actually feel like a chef while using it. The design is well thought out, with double handles, built-in measuring levels and a 3-ply material that heats your food quickly and evenly. I love the vents in the lids (no more boil overs when cooking rice) and the easy cleanup it offers. I doubt I'll be needing another set of cookware for some years to come, but if I did, I would definitely repurchase this Viking set for its aesthetics, functionality and top quality.

So happy that I bought this cookware set. Very durable, cooks evenly and easy to clean. Hesitated to make this online purchase since I wanted to actually see it in the store but so happy I took a chance. Should have bought it sooner instead of wasting time looking around at department stores.

This is my first set of stainless steel so I did a lot of research on reviews to make sure I made the right choice. I chose this Viking set based on the amount of high reviews and the fact that Viking is a well known high quality brand. That, and the fact that these were in the price range I was looking for, is what lead me to purchase. I became a Sam’s member strictly to buy this set since I couldn’t find them elsewhere online. I’ve now been cooking with this set for a few weeks and although this is my first time cooking with stainless steel, I can’t imagine how they could be any better. They have a nice weight to them, they don’t ding or dent easily, and I love the way they look. So far, I’ve cooked pastas, grilled cheese, diced potatoes, meat, etc and I’ve never had an issue cleaning them. I use barkeepers friend to keep them shiny! I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely consider this brand in the future!

This Viking cookware set is hands down the best cookware I've owned. The value, quality, and construction is great. I’ve only had my set for a little over a week, but I’ve cooked quite a few things already - veggies, eggs, pasta, etc… Having a really nice cookware set has really motivated me to cook more at home. This 13 piece set is versatile and covers pretty much everything that I cook. I’ve used the large sauté pan the most, which is great for stir-fry. I also love how the pots have internal volume markings, which makes it super easy to eyeball measurements. The cookware is heavy for its size, but very solid and well constructed. Great even heat distribution, even with my electric coil stovetop. The handles are shaped well and feel nice and very secure. I was concerned about using stainless-steel vs non-stick. I’m used to non-stick cookware. In the past, when I’ve used stainless-steel, it’s been a cleaning nightmare. I am realizing now that I never used stainless-steel properly. I followed the directions included in the set. The key is to heat your cookware on low for a couple of minutes before you actually start cooking. Works like a charm! What a difference having a quality set makes! This set is really beautiful and makes me feel like a professional cook at home. I've already given away my hodge podge collection of pots and pans that I've collected over the years. I highly recommend this set if you’re looking for cookware.

Love the set. There were two imperfections on the glass lids but the warranty is taking care of it now. Please understand that there is experience/education needed in order not to ruin such professional cookware. Use bar tenders friend to maintain this cookware and remember it retains and absorbs heat easily therefore overheating is common if not familiar with such wares. Things I have noticed since using this set every day for the past two weeks: Cleans well and quikly. (Dont air dry. Use towel) Heats quikly and evenly. (Easy to overheat if unfamiliar) Retains beautiful look. (Use bar tenders friend or equivalent) Loving this product. Great price as well!

These are amazing in quality. The quality was evident immediately upon opening the carton. They are well built, beautiful, and should outlive me in usefulness. I've used each piece in the set and found them to provide even heat distribution throughout. I find, myself spending less time stirring and moving the food around in the pots and skillets. They are just easy to cook with. Handles are comfortable and stay cool when used on the cooktop. I use the mercury ball water test when using stainless steel cookware, so I seldom have anything stick to this type of cookware, I would recommend this set to anyone. They clean up well and have had no problem with warping.

I've only used for a few weeks. I read online to season with vegetable oil and first time I made pancakes the oil coagulated and turned gummy and dark on areas of pan where food wasn't in direct contact. Food tends to stick and frying bacon causes spots inside. I use a soft wire scrubby to clean after using or hot water boil. Cooks evenly and you don't want to use more than medium heat as it conducts heat very well. Would recommend with advisement

The cookware set is very beautiful and shiny. Easy to clean and so far it didn't warped yet. I would not recommend to cook fried eggs on this cookware. They stick, and you will not get a perfect looking medium egg. I like using these cookware for sautéing veggies food, and dish with some kind of gravy or soup. the bad thing is like what I said, it is not for cooking fried eggs. the bottom of the cookware turned bluish. I think I can remove it with the right cleaning detergent/polish.
