The cookware set is very beautiful and shiny. Easy to clean and so far it didn't warped yet. I would not recommend to cook fried eggs on this cookware. They stick, and you will not get a perfect looking medium egg. I like using these cookware for sautéing veggies food, and dish with some kind of gravy or soup. the bad thing is like what I said, it is not for cooking fried eggs. the bottom of the cookware turned bluish. I think I can remove it with the right cleaning detergent/polish.

So happy that I bought this cookware set. Very durable, cooks evenly and easy to clean. Hesitated to make this online purchase since I wanted to actually see it in the store but so happy I took a chance. Should have bought it sooner instead of wasting time looking around at department stores.

I've only used for a few weeks. I read online to season with vegetable oil and first time I made pancakes the oil coagulated and turned gummy and dark on areas of pan where food wasn't in direct contact. Food tends to stick and frying bacon causes spots inside. I use a soft wire scrubby to clean after using or hot water boil. Cooks evenly and you don't want to use more than medium heat as it conducts heat very well. Would recommend with advisement

This set is beautiful! Thebsame exact quality as if ordering from Viking directly. It has a very nice weight & feel. Cooks beautifully, the key is heating the pans with oil before adding your food=no sticking. Definitely recommend Bar Keepers Friend too keep them beautifully shiny & felt pot separators if you need to stack them for storage. I love this set, it will last a very long time.

Heavy and sturdy. Love the way they handle and the look but not entirely happy with cleaning them up. SOS pads clean them some but there still leaves some marks on bottom of pan - going to try barkeepers friend next. Using them with induction and part of one seems to cook hotter on the bottom leaving me to believe there is some warp and they aren’t flat. Better than my last set but not 100% sold on these yet.

They are no doubt quality pieces of cook wear! They do conduct heat well and distributes it well, they are well polished inside and are conducive to not sticking and burning. Although they are not non stick so be ready for a learning curve in using a non Teflon coating. They are great for everything up to cooking and egg, you would have to fry it. Sauté and sweats well, searing can be a sticky mess unless you use a good amount of fat. Great set no doubt will last a life time!

Bought this set for my daughter in law for Christmas and asked her for a review. She is in the culinary industry and used to cooking with top of the line equipment. She said the performance of this set exceeded her expectations and she loves them. She says the performance and quality are about the same as a set twice the price! Well, I wanted to give Viking 5 stars. With one glaring exception, I love this set. I received my 13 piece set on 12/9/22. On unboxing, it is a beautiful and well made set. I washed the set as instructed and seasoned the fry pans. Then my problem began. I was pre-heating the 5.2 qt sauté pan on medium heat. It warped almost immediately. Not a lot but enough. I called the CS number and was told to send and email. On 12/12, I sent the email with all instructed information. I got a quick response that I would hear back within 24 hours. I followed up on 12/15, 12/20 and 12/26. Finally on 1/3/23 I called the CS number again. I was advised that them had my claim and that they were behind and that they would get back with me asap. Again, I am pleased with this product with the exception of the 5.2 qt sauté pan. Their customer service has been poor. I will update, if and when I ever hear back.

I know Viking from their high-end ovens and was surprised to learn that they make cookware as well. My first impression of this set was "wow, these are heavy duty!" The cookware arrives neatly packaged in a box and I was surprised how heavy it was. Each pot, pan and lid came wrapped in plastic and cardboard, which seemed like a lot of waste, but was done so everything could arrive in one piece. So far I have only used the pots and noticed that they heat quickly and evenly. Each lid has a tiny little vent in it which was fine for boiling water, but I'm not sure how cooking rice would work. I also loved how the pots have measurements on the inside to make life easier. The only downside is this set isn't non-stick. I think there will be a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to properly season the pans, but it will be worth it. This set is gorgeous and high-quality. I've only used them a few times so far but I can tell they'll last for many years to come. Plus, I finally feel like an adult with a matching set of pots and pans. :)
