The quality is top notch. Each piece is heavy duty and built to last. They conduct heat incredibly well, so I've learned to cook at a lower temperature than usual. It took no time to adjust, and I now love how responsive they are. Although these are dishwasher safe, I chose to hand wash them since my dishwasher tends to leave heat marks and hard water spots. With a quick hand wash, they stay looking beautiful. Beautiful. As someone who loves to cook, this set has truly elevated my time in the kitchen. The performance is exceptional, and it feels like I'm using professional grade tools every time I cook.

What I mean is that these pans are not just thrown on the stove and start cooking; you have to season them and let them come to temperature before even putting oil in them. If you follow that method, you'll have a lifetime of nonstick cooking. It does say they are dishwasher safe, but I don't wanna risk putting them in the dishwasher because I want them to last even longer. The smaller pan/skillet is perfect for single serve omelettes while the boiling pan with built in strainer is perfect for spaghetti nights. It makes it flawless cooking. I also really love the built in measurements so you don't need to add another dish into the mix for measurements and pouring. The bottom of the pan also tells you the size it is. The pots and pans are heavy. Really well made and durable. No screws that will come loose after a while. The handles are staying cool when cooking with. I don't have to feel like I will burn myself because they have yet to get hot on me..

I haven't had it for long, but so far I LOVE it! These seem to be high quality cookware, with even heat distribution. They cook well, clean up nicely, and at 1st I wanted a set with metal lids, not glass, which is almost impossible to find any more, but I like these glass lids after all! This cookware set exceeded my expectations! And Sam's had it for the lowest price.

This Viking set is all inclusive and has everything you need to cook a huge gourmet dinner or a small family meal. It has saucepans, pots and skillets in many sizes with the great benefit of the measurements all ready in the pots to no other tools are needed. It even includes the pasta/ vegetable strainer that fits right in the pots you cook it in. I haven’t had any issues of food sticking in this set, the cook everything evenly and perfect every time. I haven’t had only put them in the dish washer once and they came out fine. I always just prefer to hand wash my pots and pans. With hand washing they are easy to clean no scrubbing was required. I did notice every once in a while they do get little dots in the bottom of the sauce pans. I’m not sure if it is caused by certain food cooked in it or what but after a few washes it gone. And it doesn’t affect the use of the cookware. If there was one thing I could change on this set it would be the length and the curvature of the pot handles. They seem a little to long when using all the burners on my stove. And the curvature makes them a little awkward to hold and empty. With time I got use to it, but I would prefer a straighter, shorter handle. Viking is a great set of cookware and would recommend if you looking to only buy one set r hat includes everything you could need. And being stainless steel it will last for many years to come.

Here's my takeaways: these are solid. Both literally and figuratively. They’re hefty hefty hefty, not wimpy wimpy wimpy....but not so much that they’re impossible to handle. As it might be known, I have dexterity issues, and I can still use them without feeling like I’m risking a wrist or thumb every time I cook. Performance-wise: They heat super evenly on my apartment's induction stove, and that alone has sped up my cook time. You really don’t need to up the heat, so less is more with these, which I love. They get hot quickly and hold the heat in, so you’re not messing around with guessing games. The food cooks evenly, there's no hot spots, and no burning if you’re paying attention and permitting potential user eŕrors. As for cleanup: I haven’t dared try the dishwasher because I’ve had bad rusting experiences in the past with basically everything stainless steel in there or annoying spots, but honestly? These clean up easy with just a natural sponge and gentle cleaner. I've seen no weird buildup, nor excessive scrubbing required with these. The variety of sizes is awesome. You’ve got enough pieces to do a little bit of everything, for example making sauces, stir-frys, even bigger stuff. I haven’t made gumbo yet, but it’s on my list as that's a traditional holiday food in my family. Planning to steam tamales as well as crab in one of the larger pots, too, with that steamer add-on. I love that the set gives me those options without needing extra gear. Overall: It definitely feels worth the price, especially compared to flimsier cookware I’ve had that warped, rusted, or burned out fast. This actually feels like it’s gonna last. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to cook and seriously, these pots and pans are a dream! They are beautiful, durable and heavy (without being too heavy, like Creuset). I did pre season them all before using and I feel like this is a must with all pots/pans that I use. After reading the instructions, it says to not use on high heat except for boiling. This works because I feel like there is a great distribution of heat throughout the pan that evenly cooks your food without the need of high heat. I have been using these pots and pans for over a week now and already got rid of my last set. These are amazing.
