If your looking for pretty, these fit the bill. If your looking for triply, the whole pan is. If your looking for durable work horse... oops. The info says dishwasher safe, directions say don't... it will ruin the shinny mirror finish. They discolor fairly easy. I've never seen stainless that would like this. The triply for the whole pan is amazing for heat distribution. That feature knocks it out of the park for functional. Just wish the finish was as phenomenal.

So the first time I used them I messed up. The second time after talking to a friend our food turned out fantastic. So the second time I preheated the pan and made sure to only add liquids that were heated. I've never cooked on pans that weren't non-stick. But I found that if you are going to add any liquid to the pan or skillet after it's already hot this works better. And then if I need oil or butter for eggs I do it it before I turn the temperature on. My pans never have to be scrubbed now. They are never discolored. I love these so much now that I have thrown out my non stick pans. They heat evenly and I can cook at lower temperatures and food turns out perfectly now that I actually know how to cook with them

I just recieved my set, and I am loving them. Very nice weight to them. Love the extra long handles, and you can put it right into the oven, did someone say STEAK, YES I sure did. Follow the instructions and all will turn out great. Please do read the instructions before you use this set of cookware. IT will save you so much time and understanding on how NOT do damage this Stainless set. The shipping was fast, and very well insulated by a box, in a box in another box, then wrapped up really well. Not one damage ding or shattered lid.
