Not only can I see who is at my door, I can speak to them so I don't have to open my door to a stranger. I like to say thank you to the delivery men as well, sometimes it startles them but I usually get a good chuckle out of them. The doorbell was simple to install and the video quality is excellent.

Thin and not big which fits everywhere. Also the app is very easy to set up and use. It comes with 3 faceplate colors: cloud, jade & obsidian. Also this amazing video doorbell ignore all the distractions and focus on people. Some features of this camera are 2 way audio, 1080p HD, 162 degree view, among others. This camera is just great. Very easy to install and use. Highly recommended.

I’ve been pretty happy with the doorbell. The night vision has a great view Highly recommend.A Must have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SimpliSafe Pro Smart Video Doorbell was smaller than expected. Hardware installation took about 10 minutes, downloading their app and setting up via the app took about another 20 minutes. After you complete the hardware installation, turn power to the circuit back on. After you download the mobile app and create an account, you utilize the mobile app to setup your door bell. The setup process was fairly easy, scanning for WiFi access and displaying available networks, all pretty standard. Overall works for what I need it to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This simplisafe video doorbell is a wired doorbell and is very easy to install and use. Upon opening the package the doorbell is inside, instructions, 3 face plates in white, black, and a seafoam green, and the screws for installation. Downloading the app was simple and easy to find, upon setting up our account, the app walked us through installation. Connecting the doorbell to the app was a breeze, one thing we have not figured out yet is if we can turn off the chime to the doorbell in our house as when it rings our dogs go crazy and wake up my overnight sleeping husband. The display is crisp, clear, and shows a wide range of our front porch and driveway area. The nighttime mode is okay, it doesn't really show much except dark, we were hoping for it to be a little more lighter than it is. The two way talking is nice to have, the sound is clear, not at all static sounding. This doorbell can be turned on or off via the app, no battery is required it runs off inside source and being hooked up the the previous doorbell wires. Our wifi is strong enough for the doorbell to work without any disconnections. We are going to be adding to this doorbell and getting another for the back of the place as well. Overall we are satisfied it works as it should and was easy peasy to install and hook up.

Does not work with mechanical chimes. Instructions are lacking and leave some things out. Notifications can take a long time to reach your phone and it takes a good 4-5 seconds for the camera stream to come up, at which time whoever was there is gone (if they're just dropping off a package). Very short view angel top to bottom, so you may not see the person's face and won't see packages.

Need 20vac to power the video doorbell, same as the legacy doorbell. I wanted the video feature snd that works fine, but my legacy chimes quit working and I need to figure how to get some sound in the house. Overall works fine and video is good.

At first couldn't get it to connect to WiFi, brought it inside, connected, the put it back on the door.if you change WiFi password, you may have to delete it from account and add back with new password
