Bought for making holiday cookies, most to be ground up or chopped. I was surprised at the amount of half pieces.. perfect for topping and decorating cookies. Usually I have had to buy specific packages of walnut halves for decorating baked goods. These freeze well when packaged properly. (I vacuum seal and have kept them for nearly a year)

I use walnuts a lot in baking and especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Walnuts also are the highest nutrition value of 'nuts' so - I choose walnuts quite often replacing pecans or replacing half pecans with walnuts. These are a great value, high quality - and very worthwhile. Thanks Sam's Club for carrying these great walnuts.

I've been buying these walnuts for years. They are a great deal, always consistently good. I eat the walnuts due to Low HDL (good cholesterol). Eating 1/4 cup a day in my oatmeal has helped to improve my cholesterol naturally without additional medications.

Love these walnuts. I bought them about a month ago and they are half gone already. I use them in brownies and banana bread as well as eat them out of the bag for a healthy snack. The price is also very reasonable considering you are getting 3 lbs! I'll probably buy another bag at Christmas, for sure, to deal with all the baking I plan to do.

Nuts were tasty though not as plump as I would have expected. I haven't run into any shells or dry, bitter tastes so yes, I would say it's worth buying again for the cost, quantity and quality presented. I would definitely use these to make my own nuts and dried fruit blend, for baking, nibbling or as an addition to Greek yogurt.

These are the BEST walnuts I have ever eaten! They are so fresh and perfectly shelled! That other leading advertised brand does not come close to the quality and value that you get with these. Too bad I settled for less at a higher price the last 9 years; oh well, just happy I stumbled upon Member's Mark now that I am on a very strict budget. Very happy and satisfied buyer!

This is a hit and miss item! Sometimes they are good, and sometimes they are bad to horrible! Even when the expiration date is way off in the future! We’ve tried storing them in the pantry, the refrigerator and the freezer. None works better than the other. It’s sometimes they are good, and sometimes horrible, with rancid taste.

Sam's Club has been my go to place for several years to buy shelled walnuts . Love to use them in so many dishes and for the most part, they have tasted fresh. The one time they didn't, I just took them to the store and returned them without any problems.

First used these nuts about a year ago. This is a big bag of nuts. Price is excellent. They do need to be ate fairly quickly or they will become rancid, but can be frozen to save them. Walnuts are very healthy. I have used these as snacks, on salads, muffins and breakfast dishes.

we also purchased this product last year it was great, this year it was terrible. the nuts are good size but they smell bad, like old oil, we could not eat. So bummed was looking forward to cooking with them. But we can not. They may have gotten stuck in truck or maybe hot when put in bag that caused the terrible smell and taste.
