I was tired of paying $5 for one cup of walnuts. I bake a lot so I bought this bag online. It’s huge. I put some in freezer bags to take out as I use it. Don’t want them getting bad and smelling like old cooking oil. I break them down then roast in the oven prior to baking. Then add them to banana bread, cookies, brownies, salad. This bag will last a longtime.

Originally, I got walnuts in the shell for filling the squirrel feeder. The squirrels were not overly enthusiastic about them, even after I hit each with a hammer (THE NUTS, not the squirrels) to crack them. When they did actually take one, it was never while I was watching. I only knew there had been a diner because of the evidence left on the lawn. Figuring I would eventually step on one, I reconsidered that idea and bought these. I mix them with the sunflower seeds and I am entertained watching them snuffle through the sunflower seeds once they realize they don't have to work very hard for the payoff.

Must have in our healthy diet! Hubby and I are working on keeping our cholesterol within normal limits so we do incorporate walnuts (correct serving size) in our daily diets. These are always fresh and we enjoy eating them as snacks and adding them to food.

These walnuts are usually very good. I have always purchased them in the store, but this time I bought them online. These nuts are not as fresh as what I bought in the store, I have found some of the nuts to be stale. I will not be purchasing anymore online and will carefully look at the date on the bag when I buy them in the store.

I keep them in the freezer so they don’t go rancid as I’m the only one using them. I pull out and chop up a batch and store in a glass jar. I add them to some mason jars that I prepare with oats, walnuts, spices, flax seed. Then I add canned pumpkin and milk. Heat in microwave next morning for breakfast…yum!

We purchase this for an elderly friend who has sequestered himself because of COVID. He is a nut freak, pistachios, cashews, almonds, walnuts .... and he "orders" through us frequently when we're doing a Sam's run. He's really particular, so these have to be at least 5*, or we'd he would not be reordering these. For those old enough to remember the "Mikey likes it commercial," they pass that test!

Rcvd the package that was in a box with everything else that we ordered. There wasn’t any bubble wrap or any filler in the box. The walnuts had a 2 inch rip in the package and the Neutrogena Hydro Boost (package of 3) has a cracked lid which caused it to leak.

Nuts are a fantastic in morning oatmeal or for afternoon snack. Very fresh and clean meat without any nut shells. Soak nut meat in Member's Mark Organic 100% Pure Maple Syrup to make a seroiusly good wet walnut topping. DO NOT eat directly from bag or you will overeat because they are so good! Pore into separate nut sacks to regulate amount you eat at one time to the recommended serving size.

Excellent buy!. I buy these a couple times a year. Bag in quart size bags and frreeze them . We live so far out we just cannot run to the store . And ording on line is not always instock. so grab them when you can if you love to bake. And good for you!

Amazing! I love walnuts and these did not disappoint. I couldn't believe what 3lbs were and shared a quart size ziploc bag with a friend. We both are very happy with these walnuts. I've baked with them and used them in green and fruit salads. I've enjoyed them as snacks with other nuts (cashews and almonds) and fruits like apples, mandarins, grapes, and berries.
