Love these walnuts. I bought them about a month ago and they are half gone already. I use them in brownies and banana bread as well as eat them out of the bag for a healthy snack. The price is also very reasonable considering you are getting 3 lbs! I'll probably buy another bag at Christmas, for sure, to deal with all the baking I plan to do.

These are the BEST walnuts I have ever eaten! They are so fresh and perfectly shelled! That other leading advertised brand does not come close to the quality and value that you get with these. Too bad I settled for less at a higher price the last 9 years; oh well, just happy I stumbled upon Member's Mark now that I am on a very strict budget. Very happy and satisfied buyer!

I am a repeat customer for these walnuts -- I buy about three pounds every other month. The product is always good, and it may be because the company follows up with messages and questions about customer satisfaction. These come in a special bag which will keep them fresh, along with specific insructions of how to store them. Example: don't store them together in the same place as onions or other strong smelling food. Very delicious, good for you and these are full sized, not tiny bits.

Having used nothing but Diamond Walnuts for years, I was reluctant to order Member's Mark Walnuts. However, the fact that I could get a three-pound bag (I use LOTS of walnuts) for such a reasonable price convinced me to try them. They are delicious and I would not hesitate to buy them again and again.

I have been buying these Members Mark walnuts for monthly for almost a year. They were fresh and tasty. This month I got my first bag of mixed stale walnuts. I will be returning them for a refund. I will continue to buy these walnuts. I know in the long supply chain a few old walnuts must have been introduced.

We like these walnuts-- the large quantity is matched by a competitive price. The walnuts arrive fresh, and taste as good as walnuts can when they are stored out of the typical Sam's Club store's harsh, UV-emitting overhead fluorescent lights. That overhead UV is powerful-- it actually fades cardboard box lettering, and damages the walnut's delicate omega3 fatty acid molecule. Our only, but significant NEGATIVE on this product is the press-n-seal strip does not adhere very long to the bag, but becomes detached. When the bag no longer can be sealed, walnuts become stale and rancid. We have brought this to the attention of Sam's management, but local stores seem not to care that much. We have contacted Bentonville, but they merely refer our comment to the local store.

I use walnuts a lot in baking and especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Walnuts also are the highest nutrition value of 'nuts' so - I choose walnuts quite often replacing pecans or replacing half pecans with walnuts. These are a great value, high quality - and very worthwhile. Thanks Sam's Club for carrying these great walnuts.

Nice. large bag of large pieces. They were on sale and were a great value, even more cost effective than a bag of nuts at our local farm store which is usually the best deal on nuts in the area. I took off one star because of the packaging. They were placed in a large box that also contained a carton of 5 reams of paper. It probably weighed at least 30-40 pounds and the nuts got slightly crushed from the weight of the box of paper.

This is a hit and miss item! Sometimes they are good, and sometimes they are bad to horrible! Even when the expiration date is way off in the future! We’ve tried storing them in the pantry, the refrigerator and the freezer. None works better than the other. It’s sometimes they are good, and sometimes horrible, with rancid taste.

Being on the Mediterranean Diet, these shelled Walnuts makes the recipes so much easier. Some are used as is, some are roasted. I mix them with pumpkin seeds, dried cherries and golden raisins for an afternoon snack that doesn't spike my blood sugar.
