Very good value. I use them in my dog's food. We put them in a food processor to chop them up. We've been making our own dog food for years. It so much more healthy for them. Nuts give them good protein, fiber and essential oils and nutrients. Obviously they are just one element. But very essential for their diet. Please stop using store bought dog food. You're giving them poison, if you will not eat it then neither should they. Just make sure you look at recipes so they get all their needs met. And the best thing you'll save money and your pet children will be more healthy. None of mine are overweight their coats look beautiful and they are energetic. They it up right away. Only down side is you really need to make it in batches and freeze it, then defrost it everyday as needed. Its easy if you take it from the freezer the night before and place it in your refrigerator. Ready the next day, heat in the MW, and serve. You will need to keep the nuts in the refrigerator after opening them nuts can spoil.

This is my second bag this year and I just love how fresh these walnuts are! I use them in my morning oatmeal, in cookies and other baking as well as a few daily for the good oils they contain.

Walnuts are always fresh and mostly halves. Have purchased many bags and always satisfied with the quality. A healthy snack, great to snack on instead of sugar snacks.

These are delicious walnuts, uniformly halves, so very versatile. I chop them and store them for use in quart jars. They're terrific in everything from baked goods to our morning cup of oatmeal.

This surely is a good deal! However, was surprised and saddened to have found some very small bits of shell within the bag. I’m not sure if this can be separated or if it was just a fluke. I’m not sure if baking the parts within a cake will soften them enough to become less of a problem, especially for teeth and the insides of the body. I hope so, for my sake and everyone that I’m baking for. Yikes.

These tasted and smell old (like old oil) even though the best by date was 8-9 months out. Sam’s customer service shipped a new bag right away. The second bag was better but still not as fresh as I would like. Probably won’t buy again but not sure.

The last 2 times I bought these they were disappointing. I eat these everyday and have had to throw away a number of them because of the taste. A lot of them tasted old, ‘oily' and and looked bad as almost rotten (black). When I first started buying the walnuts, maybe a year ago so I have bought several bags, they were good.

i love Sams and these are the best walnuts ever. Not only are they great quality they are priced well. But today I found 1 large and 3 small pieces of shell in the bag. I grabbed a handful out and started chewing and there it was. I will still buy these just letting Sams know in case it becomes a problem

I went to exchange rancid walnuts with different batch number at Sam's but the exchange item was also rancid.
