This surely is a good deal! However, was surprised and saddened to have found some very small bits of shell within the bag. I’m not sure if this can be separated or if it was just a fluke. I’m not sure if baking the parts within a cake will soften them enough to become less of a problem, especially for teeth and the insides of the body. I hope so, for my sake and everyone that I’m baking for. Yikes.

The last 2 times I bought these they were disappointing. I eat these everyday and have had to throw away a number of them because of the taste. A lot of them tasted old, ‘oily' and and looked bad as almost rotten (black). When I first started buying the walnuts, maybe a year ago so I have bought several bags, they were good.

We won’t buy this again. It might be fine for baking but the walnuts tasted ‘old’ and has an odd after taste. Skip this purchase!

With the holidays approaching, I knew I would need walnuts. With the shortage of different supplies, I ordered the 3 lb. bag of Members Mark Natural Shelled Walnuts. I have used them before so know about the quality of this product.

Walnuts! It’s recommended by my son’s doctor as supplement. Guess, it’s not only fun to have in ice cream and pastries. It’s actually really good for one’s metabolism if he/she has some kind of a genetic deficiency or disorder.

I’ve bought walnuts for years at Sam’s and love them. But the last few bags I’ve gotten taste a bit old and I have to throw out at least a third of the walnuts because they’re no good.

I have been buying these walnuts for years. The last shipment had over 2 cups of fine walnut dust in the bag. I will not be ordering these online again.
