My dogs love this food. One is allergic to chicken, so it's rare to find a good/affordable food option for them. I do have to switch them to a low-fat food soon though, not sure if the two are related... but we shall see!

Good price for a large bag but only my shar pei was able to eat it. The mini schnauzer threw up multiple times and loose stools for 24 hours. We only mixed 1/5 of a cup to their food. Had to return the bag.

Love the value of this dog food and it gives my Rott's coat a lot of shine. Been using for years but now it gives my dog such terrible gas that I have to switch.

I have used many top brand premium pet foods in the past 40 yrs and love this for my GOLDEN. NO PROBLEMS WITH ALLERGYS etc...Very pleased with all the ingredients. Paying more money for other brands you will not get ANY better food!!!

This food caused my dog to develop diet associated congestive heart failure and he recently passed. I would strongly suggest speaking to your vet about the risks associated with a grain free diet before feeding your dog this food. It could save their life.

My English Bulldog has been on Purina pro plan salmon and rice for 2 years and I decided to try to save some money and get this. He refused to eat it. He went 4 days without eating till I went and bought his old food and he ate again. I had thrown the bad away or I most definitely would have returned this.

This food smells like a fishing dock, and my dog would not go anywhere near it. I had mixed some of his soft food into the dry food so he'd eat some… he threw it all up. Brown liquid everywhere. He also had diarrhea for almost three days. Returned it immediately.

Our dog has a chicken allergy, so our vet recommended we try Salmon based dog food for him. We started feeding him the Kirkland brand food, and his allergies symptoms disappeared. After a while, we switched to switched to Member's Mark Salmon food. After about a month, he started breaking out in hives again and getting a red rash on his belly. When we switched back to the Kirkland brand, his symptoms cleared up. Just because it says salmon, doesn't mean its not also other meats. Avoid the Member's Mark Salmon food if your dog had food allergies.

Exceed Salmon & Peas Grain Free is probably the best dog food sold by Sam's Club. That said, Dog Food Advisor gave it only 3.5 stars out of 5 and my dogs simply did not like it. I have since gone to a more premium product, Canidae Grain Free Pure Elements, which gets Dog Food Advisor's highest rating. To properly transition from Exceed to Canidae, I am mixing the two kibbles together. Unfortunately, my dogs like the Canidae product so much, they are pick-out the Exceed kibble and leave it all over the floor while only eating the Canidae kibble. Sometimes it's worthwhile to pay a little more.

I feed my dogs grain free dog food and was interested in Member's Mark. But in it are dried peas, pea protein, nonspecified animal fat and especially menadione. All of which are arguably not high quality items. This is disappointing. I am also not crazy about "natural flavor" whatever that is. Member's Mark needs to eliminate these items before it can be considered a quality dog food.
