We have two giant breed dogs. One can not do chicken anything, the other is just a little picky. After going through a few different brands (some were stupid expensive, but whatever!) and recipes, the salmon was the winner! We go through a bag in about a week and a half. Each dog has a sealed container with the bowls fitted on the top, so the smell does not get to us. We've never had gas issues (thank goodness) and their coats are shiny and amazing! The only bad thing is lately it goes out of stock. This last time we had to buy lamb so now we will start buying 2-3 bags and getting more when we are down to 1-2.

My dog has some food sensitivities but as long as I've fed her grain free food she's been fine. I've tried many brands before and she's never had a negative reaction like she did with this food. Her skin got dark, dry, and itchy. Her fur got more coarse feeling and she was shedding like crazy. She lacked energy and was just not the same dog. When the symptoms started I thought my toddler had been feeding her table scraps and that was what was causing the issue, but we made sure she wasn't eating anything else and unfortunately the more of this food she ate, the worse she got. As soon as I switched her to another limited ingredient food, within a few days her symptoms began getting better. It's been about a month now and all symptoms are gone. I wouldn't recommend this food for any dog that had food sensitivities or allergies. Not worth putting the dog's health at risk.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I purchased the Sam's club membership SPECIFICALLY because you guys have a salmon based dog food. This is the 2nd time I have been there and YOU DO NOT HAVE THE DOG FOOD! I am going out of town and I guess my dog is to starve while I'm gone or have diarrhea all over my house from switching food….

This is an excellent grain free dog food! I've a 9 yr old and 3 yr old German Shepherds and they are doing better than ever on this dog food and this dog food is affordable! I've used many other expensive no grain brands and this is as good if not better than any of them. My dogs clean their bowls every time they are fed. Both dogs have never looked or acted better since using this dog food! I became a Sam's club member because of this dog food which the money I save by this excellent dog food more than pays my membership!

I was initially nervous to switch our Vizsla from Wellness Core grain free to this. However, the Wellness was costing us $60 for a 26 lb bag. We saw this product for $30 ($5 off at the time) for a 30 pound bag, so we thought since he was soon to go off puppy food we might as well try it. We gradually switched him over a months time, and he had no issues what so ever. He likes the taste, stools are normal, and his coat seems even softer than when on Wellness. My only complaint is the smell, but it doesn't bother me unless I'm scooping it out of the bin. I suppose that's due to the fish component. Overall, I truly believe it's a great product for the money.

So many other reviews are accurate. My dogs love this food. One has had stomach issues his whole life and he eats this one with no issue and has the best looking coat. I wish supply chain could figure it out because I keep one unopened bag on reserve and often I end up almost out of it before it's back in stock. I even contacted customer service once and they didn't even respond about it.The other reviews show this isn't a regional issue but everywhere. Even my mom keeps and eye on it at her store, 2 states away.

My dogs were constantly scratching with most other brands. We went to the salmon and pea and the scratching became almost nonexistent especially for my English bulldog. He was scratching so bad He had huge bald spots. not anymore. Very reasonably priced and dogs love it.

I was optimistic of this dog food because the main ingredients were almost identical to the food we have been feeding our dog. Our dog began getting the smelliest gas we've ever smelled. We assumed it was maybe just a digestion adjustment but after working through the entire bag he still stinks. We also noticed he doesn't seem as satisfied with the same amount as the previous feed. We have to feed him more of this brand for him to be satisfied.

I started my dogs on this a couple weeks ago. And they absolutely love this food! I have one that has allergies and has hot spot on his paws and from what I can see they are getting better. Both my dogs fur is soo shiny and soft. I really recommend this food and what a great price! You just cannot do better than this dog food!

I have been buying this for over a year now. All 3 of my larger dogs like this food and our small miniature senior dog has taken a liking to it also. He has his own food but prefers to take mouthfuls into another room, drop it on the floor and leisurely eat it. None of the dogs have had any adverse reactions to it and I love the price. I purchase the salmon & peas since the salmon is better on their stomachs.
