This price is excellent for pecans and have purchased them several times. They are good quality nuts. However, they are not very crisp for eating as raw nuts. They are fine for baking. I keep them in the freezer and they are wonderful! My husband and I really enjoy them as snacks and for use on cereal. Can't beat the price for quality whole pecans.

Member's Mark Natural Pecan Halves were obviously old. They did not have a good "bite" to them. They were shy of being rubbery. This was the first time I have received a product from Sams Club that was not top notch. I received them in the summer. I will try them again, but probably no later than Spring which should put them closer in season.

Great value when fresh. I bought these a couple months prior and they were amazing. I don’t know how high the turn over is but the sending purchase a few months later we’re not a s fresh and crisp. Wondering if the second bag was from the same batch.

These are my go-to snack when I'm feeling munchy. I'm diabetic, and crunchy snacks like chips and crackers are packed with "enriched wheat" and starches which sends my blood sugar into outer space. I like to eat these as they are, straight from the bag or in a little bowl if I'm feeling pretentious. They're delicious, good for the heart and brain, curb cravings and remind me (by sitting obediently in my stomach without irritating it like junk food will) when I'm not actually hungry. Food addiction is a thing, whether we use it to fill a gap or elicit emotion or to simulate some kind of control in our lives. Pecans help save my sanity. And they're such a good price!

I bake and sell granola for resale. I have purchased MANY pounds of pecans over the years and have scoured the internet and local stores for the best value in gluten free pecans. I have ordered from many companies in bulk, but the best price is still my local Sams Club (unless you order by the pallet)! These taste good and fresh and are clean (no nut debris).

I love nuts of all sorts. These a are very good but occasionally one is dry and not quite as "meaty." That may be the nature of the brute, because when items are machine shelled the machine doesn't "see" that this one is darker and doesn't look as good.

This bag was part of a pickup order. So I didn’t get to inspect it before I got home an hour away from the store. Really disappointed with this bag of pecans. The pecans were really dark and I had to pick thru them to find some to cook with. I tried to bake using them in a couple of recipes and there were so many pecans that had a rotten taste that I had to throw the food away. I wasted money on this bag.

Good deal for the quantity and price. Be sure to buy the lightest color bag of nuts (not darker ones) because they are fresh. I’ve noticed when they go on sale they tend to be darker in color (older) and don’t have the same fresh taste s lighter color nuts.

Member's Mark pecans are a good price, but I have been disappointed with the quality. I have found several pecans that are unusable. The are dark and taste bad so it appears they not as fresh as the date implies. Therefore not as good a buy as I would expect from Sam's Club
