These pecans are great. The price can't be beat! For $5 more you get 2 lbs instead of 1lb which is usually $11-14 anywhere else. I always have them with me as a quick snack or I put them in my salad or even top cottage cheese with them. You can bake with them too. They are always fresh and bag seals after being open.

I buy my fresh Christmas wreath and my pecans for roasting every year the end of November at Sam's. This year I was able to find my wreath but our Sam's Club was sold out of pecans. I searched and searched but the only ones I could find were outrageously expensive. I finally went to Sam's online and "voila" I found the pecans at a great price. I ordered and they were delivered on December 1st. I was able to make my spiced pecans gifts for all my friends and had some left over for my freezer.

I usually purchase my pecans from Sam's. Sometimes I feel it is hit or miss regarding getting a good batch, as sometimes the pecans don't seem fresh and there are too many shriveled up and/or rotten. I purchased 2 bags between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I picked out too many shriveled pecans from one bag and the other was perfect. I thought about returning the bag with the shriveled up pecans but didn't, I dislike returning food items.

I love nuts of all sorts. These a are very good but occasionally one is dry and not quite as "meaty." That may be the nature of the brute, because when items are machine shelled the machine doesn't "see" that this one is darker and doesn't look as good.

These are the best pecans to use in cooking and baking. They are always in top notch condition. There are very few broken nuts. Most are nice halves that are pretty to use for all of your baking needs. They are really good to just eat straight from the bag, too.

The only thing I didn't like about them was the tiny pieces of shells left in between the centers where the nut is pretty tightly together. They tasted great, but that little extra hard piece softened the experience of a great nut! I would still buy them again.

I am a price shopper. Unlike many, I don't buy everything at Sam's, only when Sam's has the best price. If you like pecans (who doesn't?) these pecans win. They are fresh and yummy (and really are virtually all halves) and have always been IN stock when I need them. I buy a variety of nuts at Sam's, mix them in a large roasting pan, and pack them in little zippy snack bags. Great for a healthy take a long snack at work, school or instead of junk food when watching TV. I save the snack bags and reuse them for the next time. As a bonus, the plastic "jar" is sturdy and easily reusable to store a ton of items. Pet toys, pet treats, cereal, pasta, dried beans, nuts and bolts in the workshop, spare change, Q Tips, cotton balls, etc.. I never throw them out or recycle.

Always loved these pecans before but in the last year they have had an “old” taste…..I check the sell by date every time we order them, as I order 3-5 bags at a time….my family is on keto…. And I have not noticed any being close to the sell by date. Also, the price increase?????

Good deal for the quantity and price. Be sure to buy the lightest color bag of nuts (not darker ones) because they are fresh. I’ve noticed when they go on sale they tend to be darker in color (older) and don’t have the same fresh taste s lighter color nuts.

I use pecans in chicken salad, tuna salad, and in baked desserts. I decided to try these Members Mark pecan halves, and I was not disappointed. They are fresh, with very good flavor. I was so pleased that I bought another bag to keep on hand in the freezer. These large bags are also reasonably priced. No more grocery store brands for me!
