Today is December 1st 2025( I ordered online for them to bring me the things that I needed this morning.) Pecans was on the list. I have been wanting pecans for 7 days I could not wait to chunk them into my mouth. when I got them( I open up the bag and the odor came out of the bag/ they were so sour. I've had this happen several times. but let's just be honest four times/and I had to return them (which is a hassle for me because I don't drive that's why I order online. however, I started a online return. Sam's within minutes said I didn't have to bring Thepecans back/ which I'm going to turn into squirrel food. Sam's was so nice and conveniently restored my money. and that's why I still love Sam's( I'm going to try the pecans one more time! but I will open them in the store to make sure I got a good bag( so they're not all bad) is definitely a hit and miss... but the $13 I don't want a hit and miss. it's not Sam's fault. things go to the bad. I just appreciate how quick and prompt they were to make it right! without me being in person with the item. that speaks volumes for Sam's.

Nice, intact pecan halves with very few tiny pieces. They taste very good, although they were a little (shall we say) less than crisp when they arrived, but I put them in the freezer (as I always do with any kind of nut), after which they were just fine. They're definitely a good value, too.

Member's Mark pecans are a good price, but I have been disappointed with the quality. I have found several pecans that are unusable. The are dark and taste bad so it appears they not as fresh as the date implies. Therefore not as good a buy as I would expect from Sam's Club

I ordered 2 bags of these pecans during the last couple of weeks and they are every bit as good as the higher priced brands. I toasted the halves at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet, no oil. Let them cool and crumbled them up to add to my muffin recipe. Excellent!!

They were a bit stale, this is very unusual, as I have purchased them many times so I made cinnamon sugar pecans out of the and my husband ate them any way, he said being cooked in the oven took the stale taste out...lol men will eat almost anything.

The only thing I didn't like about them was the tiny pieces of shells left in between the centers where the nut is pretty tightly together. They tasted great, but that little extra hard piece softened the experience of a great nut! I would still buy them again.

I love the option my Sam's Plus membership offers like online shopping with free delivery. Easy, simple, efficient. I love going to the stores but it's a bit of a drive and being able to buy products like these pecans is such a plus (no pun intended). My wife needed these as a key ingredient for one of the cookie types in her annual mega batch she makes, and time was of the utmost importance. The pecans arrived quickly and were well-packaged with no damage! The pecans and the cookies were perfect!

I bought this for my children as a treat, but found that when they ate it raw out of the bag it gave them tummy upset. I found out that you can soak them for about a day in water and then hydrate them. After you finish dehydrating them in a dehydrator, bake them in the oven with maple syrup. They taste absolutely wonderful! Very easy to digest after preparing this way!

I grew up picking and shelling pecans, which is so time consuming! We still have pecans that cover the ground every fall and winter. However, my delicious pecan pies come out of this bag instead of my TV room. Maybe I got lazy, but now I never have to worry about a shell sneaking into my recipes. These pecans stay fresh all year long, stored in the refrigerator. The squirrels outside are very happy with my choice, too!

When compared with other places the cost is much better. You get more for less. But sometimes there are black, bitter pecans in the batch. Having said that, I still will purchase these over the others because they are usually huge and taste amazing. I use them to make candy, in cakes, pies, and as toppings.
