Went against my better judgment when buying these recently. Good pecans are normally light in color, while crummy pecans appear much darker. The bag reflected darker color pecans, but I bought anyway. They are simply terrible. Won't ever make this mistake again, nor will I buy this brand.

This is the 3rd or 4th bag I’ve tried in recent months. Each bag I’ve purchased has just as many, or more, rotten pieces as there are good pieces. I like to eat them in the natural state and I never can put a few in my mouth without tasting rotten pecans. I don’t plan to purchase anymore. Yearssssss ago, they used to sell the best and most all were good pieces Quality has suffered.

This last batch was larger nuts. They are consistently good pecans. Recipe: 2 cups pecans heated in a skillet add 1/4 cup Sam's maple syrup heat for a couple minutes until it drys a little, spread on parchment paper, let cool a bit, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, put in quart jar gently shake the sugar around and it keeps them from sticking together. Very addictive!!

I had purchased these pecans before. They were okay, but not the best. Purchased again & they were SOFT and lots of dark colored nuts!. Did not taste fresh. Very disappointing as we eat pecans frequently! I was not able to go return them, so I finally roasted some in oven. This improved the taste.

Like some others who have left good reviews seems it is surprising that these pecans are ever good but we go through about 1 bag a month and have not had a problem. They are nothing extraordinary but definitely tasty and not dry at all. We store ours in the freezer to keep fresh and usually roast or use them in baking stuff. These are half the price elsewhere so the value is very good. I would recommend you give them a shot and see for yourself if they are good or not. Sams is very good about refunds if they turn out not to your liking.

I love these Pecans for the Spiced Nuts I make as gifts at the holidays. I have many of my friends look forward to getting them. I got the old recipe from my mom who got it from her mom. Tried and true!!! And the price is awesome too! Thank you Sam's Club!

Look at the expiration date! It is about a year from the date they were packaged. If it is close, be vigilant. Look at the pecans in the package. If there any moldy ones, don’t buy them. We have seen lots of bad Pecans here, but we only buy the good ones. Fresh pecans aren’t crisp. You have to crisp them. This is a great deal. We buy many bags of these pecans every year and have never been disappointed.

Terrible pecans and I am not a gourmet and seldom write reviews but these were that bad. I have been buying pecan halves from Sams as snacks for several years. At first they were a brand name but now they are members mark. The MM brand has never been as good as the brand name but the last MM bag I bought was awlful. They were stale and dry with a poor taste. I guess I will have to stop buying them. Returning the second bag I bought. Glad Cotco is coming to town.

I do not recommend purchasing or consuming this product. The pecans are very poor quality and I believe consuming them made me sick. I purchased a bag approximately 1 month ago. Due to my current diet plan, I eat pecans on a daily basis. After consuming this product, I noticed that I was experiencing unpleasant issues with my bowels that I had never experienced with other brands of pecans. The symptoms completely subsided when I stopped consuming the product. However, I decided to give the product another try, with the same results. Living in the south where pecans are grown, I know how a pecan should look and taste. This product is far from being normal and fresh. The pecans are shriveled, soft, have black spots and have an odd taste. Overall, the taste, appearance and texture of the pecan makes it clear that this product SHOULD NOT be on store shelves and certainly should not be consumed.
