I see a lot of negative reviews saying this litter doesn't clump well. That has not been my experience. I have nine cats, and they all use it without a problem, and I have never had a problem with poor clumping. It is not overly perfumed, as some litters are, which to me is a plus. The main downside to this litter is it does make a lot of dust, so it might not be suitable if you have cats with respiratory problems. But you can't beat the price, which is important if you have a lot of cats.

I bought this on and off over the years and loved the size for the value, and it clumped well too. After buying other brands elsewhere, I bought this again last month and the dust is out of control! It doesn't seem to clump as well as it used to either. I can't see buying this again due to the dust storm it kicks up every time I scoop. I'm really disappointed too as this used to be a great product.

We USED to use this cat litter all the time. The formula was recently changed and now it is the WORST cat litter I have ever used in over 40 yrs of owning cats. It has a high amount of dust and very tiny black charcoal pieces that our cats track all over the house. I have never seen such a horrible mess!! The charcoal adds nothing, it smells worse than ever. I suggest it's just in there as useless filler. Unless they return it back to it's original formula we will never purchase this terrible product again.

Today marks the one year anniversary of the call from our vet saying that our cat Sassys condition was grave. Perfectly healthy indoor cat that faithfully used our litter box which unfortunately had the Members Mark cat litter from Sam's. Her eyes became crusted and her nose. Her paws were caked with cat litter. It was so bad that our other cats started peeing on the floor and we blamed our dog till we saw the other cats do it (but they were inside / outside cats so they were doing their best to get outside. At first the Vet thought it was an allergy till we told them the only thing that was different was the litter. We always use Tidy Cats mainly Lightweight but Sams was out so I bought Members Mark (I regret that to this day). Reported it to Sam's got a case number and was turned over to someone that represented the manufacturer Noramerica to no avail (sad). The biggest damage is the loss of our family cat Sassy which is far more than the material or Veterinarian bill. One more note this was so dusty it was everywhere and I have a husband with COPD which could have been devastating. Will try to attach photos of Sassy before and after the Members Mark cat litter. But if there was a no star that would be our choice.

I like everyone else bought it for the bargain price. This was the first Sam's Club product I've ever been fully disappointed in. In a day or two my house smelled so horrible. It was almost like the litter amplified the smell of urine. I ended up throwing away the rest & won't buy again.

Still trying to figure out if we are truly saving any money using this litter. Very dusty and does not clump very hard limiting how well it scoops. Seem to be using this much faster than Fresh Step and this does not control odor as well. Cats do dig less of it out of the box to roll around in. I'm calling it a recommend, but only because of the price, still not sold on performance. Bucket is difficult to discard given recycling rules and limited space.

We have seven cats, so we go through a LOT of litter. We shop sales as often as we can, and rely on Member's Mark litter between sales. It's not overly scented, and it does a good job at clumping and odor control. With Plus, it ships free, so I never run out. Try it - you will probably like it! I will not buy this litter again. It says it clumps which it does until you go to scoop it, then it falls apart leaving urine soaked litter that you can't scoop. As anyone with cats knows, it's the urine that stinks the most. Not happy. (Will not allow me to give less than 2 stars. I would give it 1 star. )

I am disabled and used to have sam's club deliver cat litter to my home since I am a plus member and one of the perks was free delivery...not any more for cat litter! I used to purchase this Members Mark brand years ago and it was a great product until the formula was changed and it went from the equivalent of Fresh Step to the poor quality of Tidy Cat. This does not clump, it turns into mud and has no odor control. The last time I purchased this product was before the stop of free shipping, the container came with a crack in the bottom and a hole on the side with some packing tape slightly adhered to the container, leaking litter all over my floor. It does seem Sams does this with many items they sell online, sell what is written off as damaged and defective for the manufacturer's credit then resell online since no one would buy a broken container in the store

My cats have used this litter for years and it was great! New formula is garbage it doesn't clump it turns into a wet gooey blob with the consistency of modeling clay, I have even experienced liquid still standing on top of the wet globs where it is not being absorbed. My cats come into the house with wet muddy litter on their feet. To change what wasn't broke never turns out well. One of my cats is telling me he is very unhappy with the new formula he has quit using the litter box and has started using the garage floor obviously the ultimate statement and insult. Now I will have to find a different brand they both like. Too bad as used to be a great product
