Sharp, affordable, very nice

I've had these knives for a few months and couldn't be more impressed. They handle raw meat with a clean edge to watermelon rinds with no trouble at all. Love them better than a few my of my $300+ knife sets. Straight edge makes sharpening easy, and the handles are large enough for an easy grip.

great! affordable!

Awesome. Bought this and the paring knives (and plan on picking up the boning knife as well... The chef knife is really big.... I cook a LOT, and I think it's too big for the average (female) home cook) Anyways.. Straight out of the package these things are sharp. Immediately butterflied chicken breast not only in half but in 1/4!! Smooth as butter. Was really surprised! Not sure how long they will hold up but I guess time will tell! I usually use an expensive name brand Nakiri knife.... Wondering how this one will stack up over time!

Junk

Dull out of the package and doesn't sharpen with a pull thru sharpener. Could probably take them to a pro to put an edge on them, but why, would cost more than I paid. I've used them 3x and now I don't know how to get rid of them. Can't just throw them in the garbage though that is where they belong!!

Sharp and Precise

I just got these knives today and used them on a flat iron steak, tomatoes and onions. I swear, these knives glide right through with ease. I’ve tried others, but these are definitely the best I’ve ever used. Working in a restaurant kind of helped me to appreciate the good equipment used in a commercial environment.

This is identical to the Tramontina brand santoku knife that I've used for years. Good grip with a balanced feel puts little stain on the hand.

Sturdy and sharp

I like these so much that I bought a second pack just to be sure I always have a clean one in the drawer!

Excellent Knifes

This makes four that I have bought because they hold a sharp edge better than knives costing $50 and up. I would prefer another color handle but the blade is great!

Good Knives BUT dangerous!

These knives have a very very sharp edge where the blade goes into the handle. You can stab your hand or fingers and you will get cut. NOT SAFE. I have an older knife like these knives, and that little end corner is rounded off, and is not sharp or dangerous. These knives get 2 stars because the knives are dangerous, but they cut well and work in my kitchen. Fix the sharp edge thingy, and these knives would get 5 stars.

Not worth buying

These knives are heavy and weighted incorrectly, meaning the blade portion is far heavier than the handle. They are also not very sharp, and only work well if you are slicing down and away from yourself at the same time. The Daily Chef boning knife set is great. This set I wouldn't buy again.

This is an exceptional value. Best knives for the money.
