I drink this daily, K-pod or brewed. Both are delicious but a slight different taste. It may be the water that I use or the measurement of coffee I use to brew. I still love it either way. I do use a vanilla caramel creamer and sugar that makes it like a decadent Coffee House treat.

I often choose a bold coffee because I like to know that I am enjoying a REAL cup of coffee not just darkened lightly flavored water. That's just what the Sumatra K-cups offers! Starbucks' dark roasts will always be a first choice for me; Komodo Dragon is at the top of my list, and Sumatra is a worthy contender. This was my first purchase through the online store, and it was delivered on time, intact, and was delicious when brewed: you can't beat the aroma of brewing coffee. Thanks for everything!

Was using another brand Sumatra bean and unavailable--bought Starbucks and this is far superior. Have also tried Verona bean but prefer Sumatra for the last 3-4 years. I also use this strongly brewed coffee in my Pumpernickel and Caraway Rye homemade breads and it adds an intense and complex flavor to the breads. Amazing flavor coffee!

Sometimes coffee can take one places. This coffee, with the earthy notes and complexities hidden in the depths of the body, takes me straight to the garden. As a kid, I used to get my hands dirty with my dad on Saturday mornings, and this coffee takes me back to those moments every time that aroma meats my nose. With each sip, this coffee is bound to captivate the warm memories of my past, and I love sharing it with new and old friends alike.

I bought my first Verisimo the first week they came out. Until recently I only bought the Espresso pods. However I have switched to Sumatra as my coffee of choice. As with another reviewer, I found that purchasing Verisimo pods in a retail location can be a challenge, you have to realize that sometimes the best is not easily available. However purchasing online is easy, and very convenient with rapid delivery.

I drink only Sumatra now. The low acidity combined with the flavor is heavenly. Request a Sumatra Pour-Over the next time you want a wonderful cup of coffee. It doesn't get any fresher!!! If you are told they don't have Sumatra beans available for pour-over ask that they open a bag. It's work the extra few minutes for this cup of coffee!!

Starbuck's Sumatra reg and decaf: preference for years I mix them 1/2 & 1/2 4 times a week. I like a strong flavored brew living in the midst of coffee drinkers who seem happy with hot brown colored water. I have to travel for at least an hour to find coffee brewed to my taste. I have family in St. Paul, MN where i find rivaling brews at Dunn Bros.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think if you like dark roast, you would like this. The design of the bag is really neat. The smell of the coffee is fantastic. What fell short for me was after the coffee was brewed. To me, it tasted muddled. Not the same as it smells. I'd probably choose this over other offerings but I think it could have had a more robust flavor after being brewed.
