My female who is the worst with joint pain, has been moving better after taking this for 3 days. I have to agree with my male, I don't like the smell, but it does do what the package says it will do.

So I decided to give these a try to see if they woudl live up to what people were saying. They have really helped her. she has started to run, play jump, and even roll around which she hasn’t done in a long time! I am very pleased with what they have done for her and I will continie to give them to her. Anyway, after doing this for few days I cannot believe the difference in her! Before these chews she mostly slept and wouldn't play with any of her toys. Now she zips around the house, plays with her toys, and begs to go on walks! She's a whole new dog! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our bag of Cosequin Minis, and are thrilled. We have two dogs, both labs but different mix. Our older Dog Max tore his ACL equivalent about a year ago. The surgery is several thousand dollars with a 3-6 month stay in a vet hospital. So we opted for other options, and that was taking supplements and pain medications for a time, and now he just takes the supplements. This is one of them, and that is so he has two flavors. He‘s finicky. But this made a huge difference to him and for us to watch him. He is still a little slow to get up but he gets up and down, and now will jump the three steps to the top when he is in a hurry to get out, and sometimes to get in. His initial dosage was higher to get him going, and then we backed off as instructed. But these to work wonders, and can’t imagine how horrible he would feel without them. He is 8 years old, and really does like them, and the help it provides him. When he went for his exam etc last month, she was amazed at how well he was doing, and getting around. Ill warn you they stink, you can smell the fish. But I plug my nose and get them for them everyday. That’s the first they get when they come in from outside in the morning. The younger lab, is just hitting six months old in 2 weeks. He is full of it……morning to night. I told the Vet about him getting his nose bent out of shape when Max gets his “treat”, and she said he can have them too. He just takes the smaller ones though, or I break the regular ones in half. The Cosequin is good for their joints and their coat. Labs have a tendency to have bad hips it seems, and we are hoping since Rocky likes them, and takes them, maybe he wont have those issues when he gets bigger/older. This is a great product and really affordable through Wal-mart. We will always use them with the dogs, they are family too. We so appreciate the product and its ability to help them this much. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These particular joint health supplements are for small dogs, mine is a 4-year-old 12 pound Chihuahua mix. She has had arthritis since she was about two. In the cold weather she is in a lot of pain. She quite literally won't move unless she has to. I started her on these about a week ago, and they seem to be helping her. She isn't too reluctant to go out and doesn't seem to hold up her back leg (she swaps out from one to the other) as much. It's a little early to tell if this is really going to overcome her problems, but so far so good. I do have to say these chews stink to me and she won't eat them unless I cut one up into about 6-8 pieces and hide them in her wet dog food. But there have been other chews I've tried that she wouldn't eat even if I chopped them up in her wet food, so at least she is eating them and they have a chance to help her. I plan to continue these as the weather gets colder. I hope the longer she takes them, the better she feels. I would recommend these.

They have only been taking it for a couple days now, but they seem to have more energy to run around in the backyard. It is still early to say if their skin and coat will improve, but there energy sure has. They are taking the Minis chews, because they are smaller dogs. The chews are just their size, no splitting or trying to figure out what they need, it is already figured for us. These support vitamins are made in the USA.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy to have received these Cosequin Mini Joint Health Supplements. In the past, the vet recommended Cosequin for my Shih Tzu. He is supposed to take them every other day. However, I purchased the chewable tablets that are quite frankly too big for a small dog. I cut them in half however, my dog does not like to chew them. He usually avoids hard foods and hard treats. It was a struggle to hide them in food which he usually did not end up eating. I gave up and was no longer giving it to him and was looking into other options. I am so relieved that these are the brand recommended by my vet, Cosequin and are soft and mini. My Cody, immediately ate it and I was thrilled. These are wonderful. The package is a three month supply. I like that because it will keep them fresh. I don't like such large bags of anything because I feel it can go stale. I also recommend these because of the package. It is a wonderful, easy to use, resealable bag. The recommended amount is clearly marked on the back of the package as well as the ingredients contained in each chew. This helps with the dogs mobility, cartilage and joint support plus contains omega 3's for healthy skin and a healthy coat. I highly recommend these Cosquin Joint Health Supplement Minis.

He had to have surgery with a metal plate placed in that leg. The vet told me after the surgery to keep him on a joint health supplement to keep him from having arthritis or problems later on. I saw these and decided to give them a try. He is a bit picky with snacks so I wasn't so sure he would like these. He loved them! I give him 1 a day. The mini ones for small dogs have a fish oil in them and I think that's why my dog loved them so much. They are just the right size. The texture is squishy but they stay together without crumbling. The ingredients are very healthy and from a reputable company. It takes months and months to see the health benefits of these type products so health wise I can't speak to how they will work. As far as taste and quality, my doggy approves :)
