I do know our two dachshunds like the taste and they are very picky when it comes to taking medicine in any form so kudos on making them appealing. We are hoping it helps our ten year old, as she sometimes has trouble jumping up on couch etc. I did a four star rating, as they have a very strong fish odor, which is not appealing to this human but probably wouldn't bother most people. One thing the odor did for me was to make sure the package was tightly sealed until the next dosage, which is a good thing to keep the chews fresh! I could list all the ingredients but you can get that from the package or reading online but everything sounds safe and is definitely from a reputable company.

He has no trouble chewing or swallowing them, and thinks.they are treats. Treats that are healthy! There isnt any ingredi in them, that cause him any reactions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is only 4 years old. She is a chihuahua. To get up on the bed she has to jump on the door stool first. I put a rug there so she wouldn’t slide. She slipped a couple times when jumping to the stool first. Since then I have had to pick her up and put her on the bed. I tried these chews because I thought they might make her more limber. She does not jump on the stool to the bed all the time but I have gotten her to do it. I really think these helped her in her hips. I do not know how this will work for an older dog but I believe it is worth the try

I gave it to my picky eater schnauzer for the first week and as long as she thought it was a snack she would eat it. Then she tired of that snack and won't eat it now. But it did somewhat help her while she took it. She is six years old and a very picky eater. I still try giving it to her and sometimes she takes it fine and sometimes it is just a no. I would recommend this for your dogs. I am going to continue giving it to my dog when i can get her to take it.

But these, for some reason he actually likes these. I'm really glad he does too. Now I know what to get him when these run out. I didn't even have to trick him into eating them. I had to hide the others in food or peanut butter just to make him eat them. On these nothing, just the plain treat.

At the age of 7, he was moving slower and I began adding the soft chews to his daily diet. The results were amazing! Chance has crossed over the rainbow bridge now but his pal, Rosie is now up there in years also. At seven, she is having trouble with her hind legs from a birth defect and she somedays limps with her right hind leg, so I decided to get her the Cosequin Supplement Minis (Big Support for Little Dogs). On the label, it states #1 Veterinarian Recommended Brand. Maximum Strength with MSM for mobility, cartilage, and joint support. plus Omega-3s for healthy skin and coat. The soft little chews are designed for small mouths and my little girl is part Pomeranian and part Rat Terrier. On the label, they recommend 1 chew daily for 5-10 lbs and 2 daily for 11-25 lbs. as the initial 4-6 week start. After that, 1 every other day for the 5-10 lbs and 1 a day for 11-25 lbs. So Rosie is taking 2 a day for the start. They smell very fishy and the fish oil is preserved with green tea extract and rosemary, as well as other ingredients, I like that. At first, Rosie spit it out, took it back, spit it out and then chewed it. The second one she took immediately. Now she loves them. Her comfort and well being is very important to me and because of that, I only give her the Cosequin Supplement for her joint health.

The older one of course needs the joint health shown here. One problem I have is these chews are not at all liked by my pets. They give the chews the initial sniff and choose not to lick or chew them.If they would be more tasty to them,I am sure they would be good for the dogs. But they won't eat them.

He is supposed to take them every other day. However, I purchased the chewable tablets that are quite frankly too big for a small dog. I cut them in half however, my dog does not like to chew them. He usually avoids hard foods and hard treats. It was a struggle to hide them in food which he usually did not end up eating. I gave up and was no longer giving it to him and was looking into other options. I am so relieved that these are the brand recommended by my vet, Cosequin and are soft and mini. My Cody, immediately ate it and I was thrilled. These are wonderful. The package is a three month supply. I like that because it will keep them fresh. I don't like such large bags of anything because I feel it can go stale. I also recommend these because of the package. It is a wonderful, easy to use, resealable bag. The recommended amount is clearly marked on the back of the package as well as the ingredients contained in each chew. This helps with the dogs mobility, cartilage and joint support plus contains omega 3's for healthy skin and a healthy coat. I highly recommend these Cosquin Joint Health Supplement Minis.
