Its aroma filled the kitchen as it was cooking and it turned out fluffier than I expected! It was quite simple and easy to prepare, even though my water boiled over when I put the lid on to simmer…oops! I LOVE to just eat this as is… such a great, nutty flavor and texture, although some in the family added butter and salt. I would definitely recommend this because it's so versatile and easy to make. I also made this with steamed veggies as a stir fry, and it was delicious! I would definitely purchase again!

I do not rinse this rice, just follow the measurements and cook time on the package.

I liked the fact that there was nothing else added, it was just Basmati rice. It was nice that they added the directions for the enhanced flavor with butter and salt so I had a choice. My whole family enjoyed this as a side dish to our dinner. I would definitely purchase this product again and will look at what other Royal Authentic Basmati Rice varieties there are - I will definitely be checking out the microwave pouch for times when we need something quick.
