Once you have tried basmati rice, ordinary long-grained rice is blah. This product is the real deal, and about half the price of the similar product on Amazon. Unless you eat rice every day, a bag will last for a year.

Basmati rice has long separate grains and a fragrant smell. It's ideal for curries and stews and everyday use that doesn't require sticky grains. The price is excellent for the quality.

Great price, very good quality - taste and texture. We keep kosher - and if rice is infested the whole the whole sack would be thrown out. Never infested. Buy it regularly. Great for traditional and new style dishes.

The rice itself seems to be fine for now. The rice bag had many holes and it doesn't look like the rice was properly sealed for quite some time. Every other brand of rice I bought had their rice properly sealed with much better packaging.
