I always buy Basmati rice Royal Brand from Walmart ONLY. I have tried many varieties of rice. This one isn't soggy, and it isn't sticky, stays non sticky throughout its lifecycle. The grains keep their shape and flavor in curry, or a pulav. Best output you can achieve when you make Biryani. All above are Indian cuisines :)

We love this rice. Tastes and smells great as expected, cooked in a cheap little rice cooker. I split it up into 5 lbs bags and vacuum seal them. It takes us almost a year to use it all up, but I hate paying a fortune for small bags at the supermarket.

Ive purchased this on a few occasions and am very satisfied with this rice. My wife grew up in India and I sort of did too so our expectations of basmati is a bit higher than most. These skinny long grains go perfect with chicken curry, biryani, beef and broccoli, even teriyaki if you dont have the traditional rice. Its a staple in our house and the value is as good as buying in Patel Brothers or any Indian grocery store. Bought two and got free shipping for that much weight in transit is usually very expensive. This is a no brainer for us. Come to think, might buy two more now to stock for winter in case COVID gets worse and there may be shortages.

The only complaint that I have is Grain length, the rice were not long. They were basmati rice and supposedly basmati rice are long grain but these rice grain were short. i love that it comes in a solid zippered bag. That way, I don’t have to second guess when I pick it up. I know it's secure! The price is cheaper than anywhere else unless I go to Sam's Club. I don’t have room in my pantry for 40 pounds of rice, though. 😃

This Rice is the best rice, I soaked it in hot water for about 40 minutes 2 cups and 2 cups water,I fried onions and added some salt, in another pot i made some egg plants with vegan meat and some other vegetables , our lunch was Delicious today,I will be ordering some more,thanks

Packaging had no issues as usual, but always check the packaging of every bag if you're buying in bulk. The inner packaging sometimes breaks during shipping/ delivery, and it's hard to notice because of the outer bag (red). One of the best basmati for Biriyani
