The rice is superb. There is no problem with the rice so far. We’ve been used to eating this. But the problem is it is always OUT OF STOCK in walmart!! Why do you bring it in so little quantity that every week for 1-2 days it’s in the stock other than that all around the week it’s not available. Please bring enough quantity of royal basmati rice. We like it and enjoy it, and more importantly dependent on it. Thanks.

The rice itself is 1 of the best out there and it has been our choice for the last 10 years. However my issue is with packing and shipping of the item by walmart.com The bag came opened and torn at 1 end and the rice was everywhere in the delivered box. Walmart.com should focus on better packing and delivery and not just dump all the items that i ordered in 1 big box.

I have bought this rice before.. I like the big bag although I rebag it in 4 cup bags with the food saver and than I can open just what I need..store it in my ball jars .. I use it for any rice dishes I make but also because I make some of my own dog food instead of buying canned to add to her dry food.. and I throw the rice in with the broth and it turn off the burner and it cooks perfectly..

Basmati rice this brand is always the best. The only thing I don’t like about having it sent to my home is when they put it on the hood of your car instead of bringing it to your front door as you’re supposed to Walmartneeds to consider who they used to be their mail service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rice cooked up so easily. I used it for a bowl with salmon and it cooked quickly and was so very fluffy. There was no negative scent and did not have any issues with sticking or the rice not cooking evenly. The only downside was packaging as it was difficult to open in order to reseal. The stick for resealing did not stick after initially opening the package. This isnt a big deterrent as I do usually repackage my rice in containers but may not work for others who keep in existing packaging.

i love that it comes in a solid zippered bag. That way, I don’t have to second guess when I pick it up. I know it's secure! The price is cheaper than anywhere else unless I go to Sam's Club. I don’t have room in my pantry for 40 pounds of rice, though. 😃

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice is one of my favorites to cook with. It’s aromatic, delicious, good texture and I enjoyed long grains rice. The packaging is okay, I did end up transferring it to an air tight container but it’s a fresh and complimentary side to chicken tikka masala and any other dish.

I ordered this rice because I read about rice containing arsenic which is in the soil that it is grown in. I read that rice grown in India has lower arsenic which was why I bought it. This is a long grain white rice that has a great taste. I bought a rice cooker to cook it in. The 25 pound bag comes in a zippered burlap bag with a plastic bag with the rice inside. It is quite large and I am sure will last us for more than a year. I am very pleased with it and will order it again.

I love this basmati rice. I've ordered before and had no problem until this last order. This rice has a wonderful aroma even before cooking and this last bag had the safety tie already cut and the plastic bag inside the burlap bag had already been open. So I'm left to wonder who's had their dirty hands in my rice or if someone done something to the rice or if I received basmati royal rice at all, if some otger rice wasn'tput in this bag. Because the only smell it had was of burlap, chemical, no basmati smell at all. So did walmart send me a returned bag of rice? This is unacceptable and the rice will be returned. This is really great rice if you can get it unopened and the right rice so you don't have to worry if it's been tampered with.
