Thank goodness the club had this rice back in stock this trip. I purchased another brand when this one was out of stock and that other brand was the worse rice I ever had. Royal Basmati Rice cooks well each and every time. It's long rice grains and aromatic. Love it.

Arrived in good condition - burlap bag is sturdy, rice is clean and dry. Classic delicious Basmati fragrance, cooks up fluffy and tasty. This is a great option for those not into the bland, sludgy rice sold in most American supermarkets. Excellent choice for a quarantine supply as well!

I opened the bag of rice a week after its purchase to find green and black clumps of rice inside. The clumps were sticky, and the color was quite unnatural. I don't think it's mold, although it certainly looks like it. I've never had issues buying this particular brand of rice before; in fact, it's one of my favorites. However, Walmart did provide me with a refund for the item.

Packaging had no issues as usual, but always check the packaging of every bag if you're buying in bulk. The inner packaging sometimes breaks during shipping/ delivery, and it's hard to notice because of the outer bag (red). One of the best basmati for Biriyani

Basmati rice is loose and on the drier side which is good for eating with sauces as it doesn't get soggy but still gets coated with plenty of liquid on each grab of rice. It also goes well with tandoori style BBQ because of its non sticky texture. The bag is good size for the price. I usually pour the rice into a bit glass jar to store so the packaging is irrelevant once the product is opened.

i always buy my Basmati rice at sams club..they were out of stock for a long time so i thought of buying from walmart but no this is not the basmati rice i am used to eating. It looks like it but when i cook, it is not fluffy, it clumps and feels like jasmine rice if you have ever eaten it you will know what i am talking about. Trust me i know my basmati rice because i have been eating it for 25 plus years.

Very good quality and value. Just be careful what you order it with if you're getting it shipped because it was flopping around in a large box and could potentially damage items. Fortunately the only casualty was a box of garbage bags, the box was crushed but the bags were fine.

Very happy with this purchase! The rice smells wonderful while cooking and tastes authentic. I’ve tried other basmati brands before, but this one is by far the best for flavor and texture. The 20 lb bag is perfect for a family like mine. Cooks well every time, and the grains are perfect for biryani, pulao, or plain steamed rice.
