The item is amazing. I dont think i can go back to jasmine rice again, cooked my first batch ever in my rice cooker and the results are wonderful. Puffy, light yet feeling best part it makes delicious cilantro lime rice w/o sticking to the pot. Don't know how long, this 20lbs bag will last but I'm sure it'll worth $20.

I looked long and hard and Walmart has the best price for Royal Basmati rice. I love to use this rice alone (tastes like popcorn) and in Indian dishes and with chicken and fish. Also, I stuff Cornish game hens; wonderful. Would buy again and again.

I've actually not used any of this rice, because, I have a lot of other rice still. I purchased it because I was assured it is the best sort of rice for people who want to lose weight and have a lot of mucus to deal with. I have eaten basmati rice before and so I believe that it is helpful to me, due to experience. No idea if this particular brand is better or worse than any other, but, I did get it a couple of bucks cheaper than Sam's Club sold it for, and, that means WAY cheaper than at the cheap Indian food market I can sometimes get to. Plus, I like the bag it came in.

We’ve enjoyed this “Royal” brand of Basmati rice for many years. It’s still the high quality it has always been, and arriving in the burlap bag make it feel so authentic! In recent years, the recipe on the label has changed and now says 1 cup rice to 2 cups of water. We still get best results using 1 cup of rice to 1.5 cups of water.

This is very good quality rice in this bag. I have a large rice container into which I store the contents. The surviving bag is made of jute (gunny sack) so I use it for shopping. It even has a zipper on top. This spring I learned you can grow vegetables in gunny sacks so I will try that this year. Online container bags are EXPENSIVE. The only negative I have is their website has different prices for the same bag! The local Walmart store always offers the bag for just under $20. for 20 pounds.

Can't go wrong with basmati rice! Once you go basmati, you can't go back. Long grain rice is so easy to make and tastes so much better. The product itself is packaged really well in plastic under the mesh-type material bag. The bag itself is very nifty and can be reused for other things.

From last year I started buying this basnati rice. As it is very authentic long grain and aromatic rice. The rice grain helds good in biryani recipes and doesnt get mushy. The recent purchased bag is very different The color is more whiter and rice grain is shorter in size. Though recipe came out good but I used to like the previous rice whih brown bran and long size grain.

If you don't like rice, it probably because you never tried Royal Basmati. It makes the best, fluffiest rice EVERY time. Royal Basmati puts other rice to shame. The rice is a true long-grain and always very white. 20 pound bag lasts a long time, and comes with a plastic storage bag inside the zippered burlap bag to keep it fresh. This is the rice is prefer above all others and highly recommend you give it a try.

Bought this at the beginning of the year in anticipation for the great price hike and food shortages. Finally cooked it and wow what a delicious rice! 2 cups of rice and 2.75 cups of water yielded the best tasting rice! I used fresh garlic and chicken bouillon for flavor but honestly this rice is so fragrant it would taste good with plain salt. I normally prefer jasmine rice but this is equally delicious. Will definitely purchase again!

Been purchasing this product for years but initially from Sam's Food Club. When the Sam's Clubs were closed in Milwaukee, I thought I would be out of this item. But...lucky for us, it is on walmart.com. Yeah! Love this rice. We boil for 11 minutes and drain. Optionally add butter and salt or any kind of veggies. It is light and very tasty. Easy to re-heat without compromising quality or flavor.
