What they advertise about lightweight and odour control is accurate, however the dust and the tracking is terrible! If you want to found litter and paw prints in the most bizarre places then this is for you. I wouldn't buy it again and I don't recommend it.

I have had problems with a competitor I will not mention that does not sell the lightweight version of this product. Anyway, I consider myself to have considerable upper body strength for a woman my age, yet the original weight of Tidy Cats in the yellow pail is even too heavy for me to carry. For that reason, I prefer this lightweight version of Tidy Cats. It does the same excellent job as the heavier version yet a lot easier to carry. I highly recommend this to everyone who has cats or even just one cat like me.

I bought this mainly because it was light weight and portable in the bucket w/handle. Tidy Cat has always had really good cat litter, but this type has a very strong, clean scent to it that lasts up to two weeks before it needs changing. Even my friend who can smell ANYTHING has not noticed the cat box and said something! Definitely a GREAT buy!

I find Tidy Cats Light weight is a really good litter when it comes to smell, absorption, pouring and I don't struggle as much when filling the litter pan. Only downside I have found is the amount if dust in the air when pouring and scooping. Otherwise, a very good litter.

They’ve got instructions on how to scoop your litterbox but not on how to open the lid. I had to find a special tool to get it open, one that I bought last year after I broke my wrist. If I had not had that on hand, the container would still be unopened. I did not appreciate that the delivery shopper substituted this container for the smaller one I had chosen.

Light weight is perfect for people like me that can not lift heavy things. This last about 2 weeks before having to change the litter out because it gets that litter smell nobody wants. This does track up the floor a little so I bought one of those mats on amazon that collect all the litter and you can easily dump it back into the litter box so I am not wasting money. Tidy cat holds up well with urine making it a solid clump and not bits and pieces falling off in the box. Great litter and have been using for over a year!

We have 2 large cats that like to dig! The smell of this litter is great. The clumping is also great. The problem is that so much gets outside of the box from the digging. They fling it like crazy! I need to sweep their area 2 or 3 times a day compared to once a day with traditional litter. I do like the clumping and smell better though. What’s a girl to do?? :)

I use this because I am 80 years old, 5' tall, weight a little over 90 pounds, have 6 cats and used a non-clumping litter for one day and knew it wasn't a product I wanted to deal with. I need a large quantity and regular litter is too heavy for me to even get off a shelf or carry into my house. The greatest problem I have with the lightweight is the price. It is over a dollar a pound and I spend between $40 and $60 per month on it. Very costly but necessary.

the litter is very lite but it is horrible at being tracked all over......the Manx had a bladder infection after her round of antibotics I bought the tidy lite.....clump is so heavy....works like clump but seems to track a lot....I switched back to my Breeze Litter Box.....it you like clump.....Tidy lite weight is a 100 time better

The light weight is easier to carry upstairs. The pail, like this, is most easy to use. The container is a great size for things, after being emptied. The handle on these, is strong. I like that, because weak handles aren't so good. oh, %26 you can stack these as well. So storing them on the side is a breeze.
