I've ordered this litter for years. Now I'll have to change to a new product for one reason - they no longer have a handle to carry, move or apply the product relying on opening the top and shoveling the product from the box into the litter box. I can't even move the product since just putting it onto a wheeled lift to take it to my litter box area is a real chore. I'll be shopping for another product unless I'm told they manufacturer will reinstall the handy handle and way to pour the product.

I like this product.It's not extremely heavy to lift. I also like the effect of its odor control. I am handicapped and require help. My friend who was helping me with changing my litter box noticed how well it worked at odor control and she is is no also

I have used this litter for years because I have multiple cats and the other litter can get quite heavy. It does track a bit but the reason I give it a 3 is because the lid is VERY difficult to open. I think 8 out of 10 times I use this litter I have a very hard time opening the lid. I can't imagine how tricky it would be for older people or people with limited mobility in their hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Tidy Cats Lightweight litter for about a year. It is the best litter I have ever used. It is easy to maintain, clumps are solid and easy to scoop. It will last at least 3 weeks if you clean out solids daily. It also doesn’t track too much either.

I have three cats. The house is a ranch with a basement and ground level. I have 4 litter boxes - so cleaning and changing out all the boxes is a chore (especially the basement boxes). So I decided to change to this light litter (corned that it would be too expensive or not work as well). It is more expensive. But I would say it’s worth the additional expense. You don’t use any more of the light kind than the regular. It clumps well and is also low dust. My cats didn’t really notice a difference. And it is MUCH lighter. Even with it being used/clumped it is much lighter. In the past I used regular tidy cat. Then I switched to arm and hammer slide (for no dust option). Always wanted to try the Tidycat light weight. And glad I did. Wish it was cheaper - but the quality and lightness outweighs the additional cost. It’s worth it.

This new lightweight litter is by far the best ever especially for us Senior Cat Lovers. The 8 lb plastic container is so much easier to lift and carry - that alone is worth the extra money. But to my delight the product works 10 times better than any other litter. It clumps tighter and does not stick to the sides of the litter pan making it much easier to clean the litter pan. And of course bag of the used litter is much lighter to carry out to the trash. At my age, 72 years, it is just what the doctor ordered for my old back.

Purina Clumping Litter keeps any odors down with little dust. I have used it for all the cats we've had. There is very little if any dust. Our cats always liked it. It soaks up odor %26 moisture %26 keeps the litter box from smelling. My cat likes it.

I swear by this litter, I've tried every brand out there - okay almost every brand out there lol - & I must say this one is by far the best for my 3 meowmeows. I've contemplated trying others though haven’t. The scent is not over powerful, it clumps well, it's light-weight and you even get a pail when it's empty for extra storage.

i started buying these because they were a lightweight alternative to the extremely heavy other ones and im 4'9" butt cant carry anything heavier than a gallon of milk, and for awhile these saved my arms and back a load of pain when doing the litterboxes, but then they randomly increased the price so much that i cant justify buying it over the others.. really upsetting..

Other than I LOVE it! This lightweight version of the litter has been a dream!It clumps just as well as the heavier version, without all the dust blowing up around you. The lack of weight...let's just say my wrist thanks you. I've tried others, and there's no comparison! Tidy Cats IS the BEST!
