lighter but stronger against odors.

Just bought tidy cat litter for the first time this week. I am now completely sold. All the other litter I have tried had odor after one day. We are on day seven and no odor! Tidy cat has made taking care of the litter box easier and fresher. Thanks tidy cat!

I use this litter exclusively. It does the job, it's not dusty, it's lightweight and hides odors. I like to order it from Walmart online because they send it quickly and easily. Since the box is left on my front porch, all I have to do is open the box and bring the litter inside my house. No more lugging litter fromthe store!

The Worst Litter I Ever Bought

This new litter might be lightweight, but that's all it's got going for it. First of all, it's way too expensive. No cat litter should cost that much especially for what you are getting - dust all over, litter being tracked all over the house and floors, including my bed and litter stuck between my cats' toes. I have dark hardwood floors all over my house and it was a complete disaster. If you have light rugs and floors, you might not notice it as much, but believe me it's there. I honestly don't know how they tested this product. I put the jug of unused litter in my trunk and brought it back to where I purchased it and got a full refund. I tried the new Tidy Cat with Glade and what a difference. I have three cats and this litter has the least amount of tracking out of all the Tidy Cat and other litters I have ever tried. The Glade smell is not my favorite, but it's light and not strong and hopefully one day they will change the scent.

Worst ever!

Does the job with clumping and odor control, but tracks EVERYWHERE!! Even with a high end mat in front of the litter box, had to sweep the hardwood floors at least once a day. Could literally follow the path my cat took across the floors. Very disappointed.

Too costly

This is the brand I like. I'm 66 and I can only handle. The lightweight. Problem is you abuse your consumer by charging so much. I don't believe they both differ enough to be charging so much more....they should be the same price as the 35 lb. container.

LOVE this litter!!

Got the free sample 8.5 jug and couldn't believe how easy it was to lift it to fill our litter boxes. I have 4 cats and they used it as soon as it was put into the boxes. I didn't notice the dust like others did and I'm very sensitive to dust. Clumped much better then the instant action kind I buy. The urine clumps and scoops out easily with no odor at all. NO feces smell either!! I live in a small space and once they are done going there is NO SMELL!! Can't wait for it to be on sale publicly and in the buckets for the same as your other litter. Best litter I have found. Also, the side handle on the jug is a great idea..should be made a normal thing for all your other litters in the jug as well. Makes the task of adding more litter easier for all.

Quite possibly the perfect litter

Thanks, Tidy Cat for the sample. Our four cats and I like this litter. It sifts better and cleaner. It still has amazing clumping power. Didn't even notice the new side handle until I was adding more litter to the boxes--great idea. I can't wait until this is in the stores.

Works in automatic litter box

The regular Tidy Cats clumping litter clumps so hard, it ruins the take motor of an automatic litter box, but the lightweight type proved to be good for such. It's too bad it's so much more expensive. Claims it's the equivalent of 42 lbs of regular cat litter---NOT! Doesn't last as long as the regular Tidy Cat.

Not Worth the Price

I decided to give this a try because I live on the third floor of my building and I have some trouble carrying the 35 lbs pail up the stairs. I will not buy it again. It was far dustier than the regular kind. Also, since it is lighter, my cats track it all over the place much easier. I would have to vacuum every time they use the litter box to keep the floor clean. It was not clumping as well either. The much higher price is not worth it at all. I was going to submit my receipt to get my money back, but the satisfaction guarantee link seems to have disappeared or is not currently available. Disappointing product.

1/2 the weight and 6 X the respiratory health risk

I purchased this new Purina Tidy Cats Lightweight Cat Litter Club Box at Sams Club for the second month to give it its due trial period with my cats. The Cat Litter performs amazingly and keeps the smell to a bare minimum. Usually its because of my lazy cat that likes to bury nothing and leave his mess exposed. But we love our cats for their individual personalities. I wouldnt take him any other way. As you can see my animals are like family to me. So something I feel is unhealthy for myself to be inhaling; I wouldnt want the same for my cats. The downside to this new lightweight formula is the dust that gets put into the air when sifting through it. I must be sifting through the liter like a mad man. Good idea, but not correct. I even purchased a extra large pan cat litter sifter to allow me to slowly sift through a larger surface area while allowing the cat litter to pass through the grates without actually falling back down to the cat litter pan. Even using extreme precaution not to create dust I found myself sneezing and gasping for air. My bathroom which I dedicated the spare shower for the litter box is covered in cat litter dust, along with anything in my bedroom near the bathroom door. I will be going back to the cat litter purchased at winne dixie in the plastic yellow pale with either red or torqouise half-flip-open lids. Those pales also work as awesome buckets for anything you can think of. I even used the empty cat liter containers for paint gun cleaning pales filled with paint gun cleaner acetone/alcohol/toletene mix and used oil/coolant storage. Its almost like they designed that pale for customers to utilize afterwards, even for cat litter disposal.
