I bought this cat litter and it was awesome!!!! my husband is disabled and it is so light weight that he can even carry the containers. and my cats are so picky on their litter I have one cat that refuses to use certain litters and he has no problem with this

We have 3 cats and 3 boxes.  We put this lightweight in one box.  Here's the breakdown of our test drive.  Pros:  light weight (of course), need less and it goes a long way!  Clumps REALLY well!! We used only 2 - 8.5 containers instead of one full 35 pd container! Cons: THE DUST gets EVERY WHERE!! It is also so light weight that the cats track it more.  The most over-powering SCENT EVER!  It's enough to gag you!  It does subside somewhat but not enough! I LOVE the idea of it!!  It needs some more work, however!  I'm not sure you can make it light weight and not have it track out.  I can live with that.  Work on the dust and the scent and I'll be back!!  I have a pic of the dust but apparently cannot upload.  I'll add this review to Amazon (if product is there).  

I have bought and used this litter a couple of times now. I do love the light weight and ease of scooping. However, the pieces of litter seem to travel a lot further. The room where the litterbox is located has litter all over the floor, and pieces of the stuff travel with my cats all the way to my bedroom and everywhere in between! I would still recommend it, though. Just more sweeping and vacuuming involved.

Lightweight litter was causing my cat to sneeze and sneeze I went back to the reg clumping litter and his sneezing went away. I have a whole jug and won't be able to use it . Don't have receipt to take it back but I'm afraid to use it because of what it does to my cat the dust is so bad or whatever that have in there is not good for cats.

I have used almost the first jug and really dislike it. The lighter weight is nice but it tracks worse that the clumping litter I used before and it seems only slightly less dusty. My 2 biggest complaints are that it does not clump solid enough for the Litter Maid to rake it. The clumps get gummed up in the rake and then it is like a snow plow and wastes good litter. The other complaint is the smell, it takes 2-3 days to fill a waste bin in the litter maid with two adult cats and by that time my whole house reeks. Not of cat odor, it is the litter odor that is meant to mask the cat odor. Quite frankly I prefer the cat odor. I wont buy it again. Greatly disappointed.

I bought 2 jugs a week and a half ago. The litter clumps great and easy to clean, BUT after 4 days the ammonia smell from urine is horrible. I even added the entire 2nd jug of litter and it did not help. I dump the entire litter box and went back to what I used before. My house now stinks like ammonia / cat urine, which never smelled before. I HATE this litter

I was super excited to see (and lift) this product in the store. I was also excited when I got home and started using it. When I go to clean out the litter box, this stuff just falls right off of the clumps so more stays in the litter box. I thought that was awesome because that means we would go through litter slower.  However, the awesomeness stops there. After a couple of days we started seeing bits of this litter ALL over the house. That was a little annoying but because I was so happy with how it came off the clumps in the box, I was willing to vacuum daily just to keep using it. But soon not only did we see the litter all over, we started smelling it all over. This stuff is SO lightweight that the dust from it immediately spread into all of our vents. You can smell it absolutely pouring out of each vent in the house. And it's not just the smell of the litter, but of used litter. As we speak my entire house smells of cat urine.  If I could give this product negative stars, I would. Tidy Cats is our favorite brand of litter but this litter is absolutely the worst. 

I have 8 rescue Cats. So it is very important to have a litter that is easy to scoop, that doesn't leave an offensive odor and one that doesn't cause my waste basket to be too heavy. With 8 cats I use a lot of litter and will continue to use the Tidy Cat Lightweight.

My cat used the litter box and I was really surprised at how much the Tidy Cats Lightweight helped to block the litterbox odor. I think this is an awesome product that really worked well for my cat's needs. I have already recommended this product to several family and friends.

I have a household with 3 adult cats. We have been using this litter for the past 4 months and have no intention of switching anytime soon. I actually have 6 jugs sitting in the garage. It works well on odors and is very easy to pour. I find alot less tracking of litter as well.
