I have been using this litter for about 3 months. It clumps very well, and I feel like I use much less litter than with other scoopable litters. My only complaint is that it is not good for odor control. I add a little of our old litter to the top of this to help with the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a coupon for a free sample of Tidy Cats LightWeight with Ammonia Blocker from PINCHme to try it out. I normally use the lightweight litter, but a different brand. We used the coupon right away and put it to the test. It worked wonders for our Kitty. Really did a fine job of blocking the smells over a long period of time. We aren't the best with keeping the litter box cleaned out, but even after a couple days of use we couldn't smell a thing (other than the fresh scent of the litter!) . Kitty took right to it and it was very easy to clean up. We will be getting some more of this as soon as the sample container runs out!!

A neighbor gave me this after it made her allergies so bad she couldn't breathe. It is pure dust with a horroble perfume. My cats hate it and just having it in the house made one so stopped up she is sneezing disgusting gobs of phlegm. Horrible layer of dust on everything. Going back to Instant Action Tidy Cats Scoop.

I have eight rescue cats and over nine boxes to keep clean for them. I've been using Tidy Cats for years and it's been the best I've used so far, however, regular cleaning has become more difficult for me due to a lifelong lung condition and the fatigue it causes. This Lightweight litter is a Game-Changer! It is SO much lighter and easier to scoop, & I get less tired from cleaning & hauling litter to the trash. I have noticed some dust, however, even though it says, "99.9% dust free". Improve that & let us use coupons on this litter & it'll be unbeatable!

I just bought the product, was enthusiastic... for 1/2 hour. My cat loved it too end keep going in and out of the box, bringing "out" and everywhere all the litter caught in his paws: light means it can be carried easily, even by your own cat! Whoever engineered this did not seem to worry about this detail that forces you to keep vacuuming...

This is a great product. So glad someone finally made a lightweight litter and of course one that fights odor and scoops really well. I have found it difficult to get some of the heavy litter containers in my grocery cart and then lifting them to pour the litter.

It was also very Easy to pour into the litter box. We have Four cats and tidy cats makes it smell like we have none. Great product that helps keep a sane and happy home.

I really do not understand the concept of this "lightweight" litter. Sure it is lighter but it cost almost twice as much as Tidy Cat scoopable litter in the same size container and it doesn't work ANY better. It doesn't last longer or smell any better.

I had very high hopes for this litter. The thought of not having to lug heavy containers around was enticing. So I bought one box. The good: 1. It is very light and easy to carry - excellent 2. The volume is the same as regular litter - very good 3. The cats love it. I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes. Tried this in first 1 then 2 boxes to see how the cats reacted. They prefer this lightweight litter, a lot. All three prefer it over standard litter by a long shot - very good 4. No odors and very good clumping - thought we had a winner But the bad rules the day: 1. The amount of dust is incredible. Far more than any other litter I have used. I have considered wearing a dust mask. Everything near the litter boxes is covered in dust - this is horrible! 2. And the price, nearly double regular litter, is just not justified, particularly with the dust problem. So I could not recommend this to anyone and do not plan to buy again. If they got the price down (I thought it might be less expensive since the shipping costs should be so much lower) and solved the dust problem this would be a phenomenal product. Unfortunately it is not. Sorry

I am on my third container of this litter. I love the ease in scooping and the light weight and the fact it lasts a lot longer than the other Tidy Cat Litter,but I don't like the amount of dust that comes from it. I isn't 99.9% dust free. I have to dust the top of the litter box and the area around the box everyday. I have only two cats. I love the litter,but am disappointed in the amount of dust.
