Me and the feline are okay with this product. I usually don't get it simply because I'm too cheap and I don't scoop. However, the scoop liters do seem to do a better job of controlling odor without feeling like it's just a bunch of bad chemicals thrown on top.

I think the idea of a lightweight litter product is wonderful. The older I get, the harder it is to lift and carry a full litter box. The only problem is that it does not help with litter box odor. I clean the box two times daily and it still smelled. Wonderful idea that does not quite work. Regular Tidy Cat does what it is supposed to, control odor.

I use Tidy Cats anyway, but I wanted to try the light weight. My cat didn't seem to notice anything (she is very picky and will go on the floor next to her box if she doesnt like whats in the box.) But she has done great with it. You definitely have a customer for the light weight.

I have alway been a fan of Tidy Cat litter. It does not smell and absorbs very well. It does not smell like a cat litter box. My cat loves it. I switched to another brand and he started to go on the floor. Switched back. No problems. Thanks Tidy Cat!!

Surprised at the negative reviews on this product...I love it! Bad joints and being 63 the tub had gotten impossible to lift into cart or out of the car, so the weight of this litter is wonderful. PLUS, the performance is superior in my opinion to the heavy litter...we have four grown cats so it got a good test. I found it better at odor control, easier to scoop, and less litter outside the box from kitties feet. My only complaint is: please sell it in the larger tub size and make the price the same as the heavy litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised that something so lightweight could work so well. The larger pails are so heavy and the lightweight litter is so much easier to carry and move and use. Having back problems makes it difficult to change the litter sometimes and the lightweight formula is so easy to use.

Any clumping litter we've used previously would get so gummy and stick to their feet, rugs and pan, and this new litter does't gum at all! I AM SO IMPRESSED! My dog uses the cat box too, and it always stuck in the fur in the pads of his feet...what a mess! I see very little tracking of the litter throughout the house. It has a nice aroma before and after use, It weights nothing before and after use. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm sold!!! So far it lasts longer and holds up to the traffic of the many many feet in our house!

The lightweight feature is absolutely great and the wet litter doesn't stick to the sides of the box but it doesn't compare to the other tidy cats I've purchased in the past. The odor control is horrible and it definitely tracks much more. Fix these problems and we'll definitely change back, until that time we'll be changing back to our own litter in less than a weeks time. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Purina Tidy Cats 24/7 performance light weight cat litter and put it to the test. It has been in the litter box two weeks and scooping out as needed. There is no dust when going threw the scoop! No horrendous odor when scooping.There has been no hint of ammonia in my house. You cant tell the room the litter box is in. I am so happy!

I was so excited about it because of my bad back and weight limitations.  I was not pleased at the price but it is a new product.  Not pleased that no coupons were found.  The dust from the litter is so overwhelming that I cough and choke and I have no respiratory problems.  The bathroom where the litter box is is the dustyiest room in the house.  Litter coverage of the waste is marginal and smell control is minimal.   Have I said disappointed?
