I bought the product two weeks ago to try. So easy to take home and light. However after two days I started finding litter everywhere! I changed everything out and it happened again. My cats paws had the litter stuck in them and tracked it everywhere. I spent several days cleaning my furniture and carpets. Went back to my regular tody cats litter and no more mess. The light weight benefit did not help the work i had to do cleaning.

I love this litter. It is so much lighter than normal litters. I struggle with keeping the litter box from stinking. The smell of ammonia gives me bad headaches, but since I've started using the light weight 24/7 performance I've noticed the smell is all but gone.

I had high hopes for this new lightweight litter, especially when I saw how dust free it was supposed to be.  Loved the lightweight, and the scent while a bit overpowering is pleasant enough.  The clumping is great and I had no issues with excess litter being dragged around (at least not more so than any other litter).  The deal breaker for me is that the litter is not dust free at all.  In fact it creates more dust than any other litter I have used.  Interestingly enough, when you pour it out of the container it makes no dust.  When my cat walks on it or I scoop it out, there is a ton of dust.  It seems like once those little lightweight granulars are crushed or broken, they just turn to dust.  The entire bathroom where I keep the litter is covered with dust, and my long hair cat smells like the litter all the time because no doubt she is also covered in dust.  So back to square one in the quest to find the perfect litter.   

If you like a clean home DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I value litter that stays on the litter mat or as close to it as possible. This essentially sticks to the cat's feet, to be thrown everywhere BUT the mat and all through the house. The light colour is blatantly obvious on the dark floors and as far as my dark bedding. I'd rather heave heavy clean litter than this horrible stuff. Stay clean my friends!

Purchased based upon the advertising of being light weight . Product performed as well as the regular Tidy Cats. What I don't care for is how much more dusty it is. As soon as I add additional litter to the box my air purifier, which is 36 feet away starts to runn on a higher speed. Never did that with regular Tidy Cats. I will not purchase the Light Weight again.

I recently filled my cat's litter box with the new light weight TidyCats product and was disappointed and annoyed. The lighter weight is the only plus, but I would happily lug a 20 lb. container of the regular Tidy Cat up my three flights of stairs in order to avoid the incredible mess this new product leaves all over my floor. The new product generates more dust, doesn't clump well and the dust combined with the liquid waste causes my cat to leave tracks all over the floor because it is caked onto his paws. I would recommend the regular Tidy Cats, but definitely NOT the light weight product.

I like the way this clumps, I like that it is lightweight, and I'm even willing to shell out more money if it works better than the regular....but come ON - the dust is unbelievable! It is EVERYWHERE. I don't know if I would be quite as annoyed if you didn't advertise that it is low dust, but since you do, certainly you need to be called on it.

have bought twice, second time the litter is very dusty and granules are so light they stick to my cat like static. I have litter pellets in window sills, my bed, on the stairs. Never had problem with pellets being every where with the original product. going back to that.

Love this litter! When I first got my Maine Coon I used some of the other Tidy Cats litters (Powerblend, 24/7 Performance, Instant Action etc), but ultimately wasn't that impressed with them and switched to Fresh Step instead- The Fresh Step clumped a lot stronger, tracked less, and smelled better, in my opinion. However, I always hated that it came in 25 lb boxes that were pretty unwieldly to carry if I had other shopping to do. And with such a big cat, we were buying litter pretty frequently. So, when I saw the Tidy Cats LightWeight commercials, I wanted to give Tidy Cats another chance, and am thrilled that not only is it super light weight as advertised, it clumps great and has very little dust (not sure why other reviewers have said it's dusty). The only little negatives are that it does track a bit more than my old Fresh Step, and it's a little more pricey. But it's great to be able to easily carry and transport two or three of these containers at a time, and I really do think it's the best clumping out of all the Tidy Cats litters. Some of the others were very muddy clumpers, which made the litterbox hard to clean and smelly. This works great, though!

The litter is much lighter as is promised and I notice much less odor with it however the note at the bottom that says it is "99.9%' dust free is a blatant lie. If this litter is 99.9% dust free I am a flying iguana. I have never had any litter ever that had more dust than this does. after pouring it you might as well have smashed two enormous chalkboard erasers in your face and after is is used it is not much better. so, all in all if you are willing to dust your house every time you use it in exchange for lighter weight and slightly better odor control then this is perfect.
