lighter but stronger against odors.

Just bought tidy cat litter for the first time this week. I am now completely sold. All the other litter I have tried had odor after one day. We are on day seven and no odor! Tidy cat has made taking care of the litter box easier and fresher. Thanks tidy cat!

Easy to carry and great quality!

I bought Tidy Cats Light Weight litter because I live in a 3rd floor apartment. I was tired of lugging the heavy litter up the stairs and the used, super heavy litter to the dumpster. This new litter is so light weight and a God sent for those of use who climb stairs to get home, but still want the best for our cats! I am so thankful for this new litter and so is my back!

A for multi-cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Figured I'd give this a shot based on the lightweight part of it alone. It's great, for multi cat households. The lightweight aspect is great, not only to transport the litter but when scooping or changing it doesn't weigh your trash bags down a lot causing them to normally tear. The only thing I don't like is it tracks everywhere.

Awesome for my multi-cat home

In taking care of my 12 'babies', I lug a lot of cat litter! This formulation has been a life-saver. Not only is it lightweight, but the odor control is terrific. People who stop by are amazed that I have any cats, let alone 12. The only change I would recommend, would be that it be made available in poly bags instead of plastic jugs. I would rate the value higher if I wasn't paying for a jug that's just thrown out.

Easy to carry to second floor.

I purchased this since I have 5 cats and have several litterboxes on my second floor. It is easier to carry up to the second floor but there is one drawback. It tends to stick to cats feet and tracks out of the box easier than the traditional scoop litter. I mix the two types of scooping litter together and it does help some.

Not So Great

I like the aspect that this is lightweight but that is it. If the dust could be gone and the tracking factor from litter box to wherever the cats go, i.e. my desk for one, it would be a fantastic product. Good idea, poor outcome. Fix the dust and tracking problem (poor cats have to walk with that between their toes - ouch!), and it would be a great product. I won't be buying it anymore. Back to Fresh Step or Arm & Hammer.

LOVED UNTIL...

Loved it until we noticed the lightweight formula sticks to the cats paws. Had to stop buying once we realized the cats regularly tracked it into the bed. Pretty sure my cats ingested enough of it too, as they would clean the lumps off of their paws, you could tell it was crunching a bit in the mouth as they try to shake it off of their tongue. Now we stick to the heavy weight to avoid tracking.

A failed experiment, alas.

I was so excited when you started advertising the light litter! I'm 70 and have several cats and it looked perfect. Unfortunately, the smell is unbearable and the litter gets caught in the cats' paws. I have to hold them down to get the little concrete-like bits out from between their toes. We have always used Tidy Cat but will try the new Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal even though it is heavy as lead! The one star is for the lightness but nothing else. Better luck next time, Tidy Cat.

Great Litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tidy Cats Lightweight litter is great but I feel as its a little high priced. I already buy Tidy Cats litter just not the lightweight brand. I do however like that it's easier to get at the store and easier to get into my house because of its light weight.

Terrible litter

I am a Tide cats litter user with multiple cats and this litter is terrible. I do not like the strong scent or how the litter is diminished after a few cats use the box. I do not recommend this litter. I am sticking with the Tidy cats heavy weight clumping litter.
