I was excited to see the TV ad as I have lifting limitations. I got to the store and same size jug as heavy was double the price.  Why improve a product and charge twice as much when it is still litter/dirt?  I give a 3 star based on price.  If it was the same price as the heavy it would be a 5, I'm pretty sure.  I found another brand at a standard price for their new light version.  I buy in bulk having several cats and price is key and hope that all litter goes to light version.  It's a no brainer to use light if you can so one does not end up with injuries.

I am on the second container of light weight litter and hate it. I have two long hair cats and the litter clings to their hair and they track it all over the house. I am not sure if the same happens with short hair cats. I do not recommend this product and am disappointed in it. Will go back to the heavy litter version and save my floors.

However I believe now that we are going to stick with tidy cats lightweight it is so much easier to get in and out of the cart and it does the exact job as most of the expensive brands that we have bought in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tidy cats products are always on sale and you can usually find coupons for them. Tidy Cats Lightweight is really light but does the same job as the heavier products. It is much easier to get jug in car and home.

Went to buy this, but the regular kind at my store is 7.99-8.99. The same size of this new one was 15.99. Almost twice as expensive. Although the lighter weight is enticing, I'm not paying twice the cost. If it were the same cost that would be one thing. Then, the other reviews are heavy with dust free isn't dust free, it's worse. You guys still have some work to do on this one.

Works GREAT, forms tight clumps, cleans up VERY well, easy to scoop, stays clean week after week. HOWEVER, it is expensive, very dusty, & highly perfumed. First bought it on sale in the 17 pound can, now I can't find it in that size, and the little jugs are the same price as the big can was ! (Bait & switch.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried so many kitty litters for my 2 indoor cats but Tidy Cats never disappoints and is always making it better like with Tidy Cats Lightweight formula which not only does it all but is lightweight which is extremely helpful since I live on the 3rd floor so Thank You Tidy Cats!

We tried using this product for about a month and it has been horrible. The light weight is great (especially with my bad back), but the trade off is in the amount of dust that this litter kicks up. Everything in the house gets covered in it after you go to clean the litter box. We even tried to be real careful while scooping, but it doesn't matter. After my cats use this litter they sneeze from the dust. We've made sure to wear masks while using this litter and have now gone back to using the original formula of the scoopable kind. All clay based litters kick up dust, but unfortunately this product produces a storm of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the container as it is easy to carry and is lightweight. When I pour the litter in the cat box there was no dust. When changing the cat box there was very little smell and no mess left in the cat box. This is a great litter, if you try it you will really be happy and so will your cat.

I like the fact that this litter is easy to carry home from the store and easy to scoop, but it's so lightweight that my cats can easily track it all over the floor when they leave the litter box. I am constantly sweeping it up even 10' away from the box. Won't be buying it again.
