[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of the biggest problems with litter are that it is so heavy to carry, and it really doesn't control smell. I am really please with the Tidy Cats litter overall, and the Tidy Cats Lightweight makes shopping and getting it in the house and pouring it in so much easier. Lets face it when your cat has a stink bomb...nothing really helps with that, but for urine the Tidy Cat's litter is a big help, because it works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is wonderful. Without a doubt it is much easier to lift and the odors stay away longer. I clean my cat litter every day and change it about once a week. With this product, as long as it is cleaned every day I can get at least two to three weeks before changing. Did I mention I have 4 cats? It's an awesome product. It cost more up front but I use less of it than I ever did before and I can actually lift the container upstairs very easily. YAY!! You really are the cat's meow!!

I thought this product would be a great idea. I have always used Tidy Cats litter, but I just bought the new light-weight product. I now find wet/dry paw prints with cat litter on my vinyl and hardwood floors that I have to use a wet rag to clean up. I never had this issue with the harder cat litter. Sure, I would find some pieces of cat litter on my floors with the regular Tidy Cats, right around the litter box, but easy enough to sweep up. The cost of this new litter is not worth the extra work to wipe up the paw prints in my house!

Odor control? Are you kidding? The first thing that hits you is the strong perfumey fragrance as you pour it out of the container, but don't worry. That perfume wont bother you for long. As soon as the litter is used, that strong perfume will be replaced by an equally strong low-level fecal funk that persists even after the box is thoroughly scooped and turned over. It's awful. I've only had this in use for a few days and I'm ready to throw out what's left in the container and flee to the store for any kind of litter that isn't THIS! My cat is in good health and hasn't created that kind of reaction with litter before. Gads! Gross!

I started by mixing this with the heavy clumping litter, now my cats are used to it and I use the light weight exclusively when it is in stock.  The clumping is better than the heavy kind.  I have a heart condition and the light weight version is easier for me to manage.

The worst litter I have ever bought. Doesn't clump well AT ALL. I broke the scoop trying to scoop the clumps off the bottom because no matter how full it is, it all sinks to the bottom. My cats track it everywhere. It leaves clumps of wet litter on their hair. Wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

I have ONE cat indoors with two litter boxes. I also have one outdoor cat. The lightweight feature is because TidyCat firgit to add odor control. It smells horribly. I clean both of my cat's litterboxes daily and it didn't make a difference. I don't care that it is lightweight - I'd carry 30lbs of cat litter over the lightweight any day if it controlled odor. TidyCats - you have some work to do with that one. I threw it all out and started over with the other TidyCats (Red Top).

Yes, this product is light weight and easy to dispense. I just have a problem of when my cat urinates, the cat litter sticks to his paws and the wet cat litters is all over the house. I will go back to the traditional cat litter, I do not recommend this product.

This Litter is great as far as the weight, I even like that it is lightly scented. BUT, This stuff does not perform like the original. The Urine goes to the bottom of the litter box and sticks to it. It also sticks to cats paws and gets tracked all over. Switching back. Not happy at all after buying 2 jugs of this stuff!
