I have 8 cats so I put the Tidy Lightweight in only 2 of 12 litter boxes. A couple cats are using the new litter but the majority are using the old litter. I am hoping they will all come around because I much prefer the lightweight and it scoops fine and the used litter is light too!

I was super excited to see (and lift) this product in the store. I was also excited when I got home and started using it. When I go to clean out the litter box, this stuff just falls right off of the clumps so more stays in the litter box. I thought that was awesome because that means we would go through litter slower.  However, the awesomeness stops there. After a couple of days we started seeing bits of this litter ALL over the house. That was a little annoying but because I was so happy with how it came off the clumps in the box, I was willing to vacuum daily just to keep using it. But soon not only did we see the litter all over, we started smelling it all over. This stuff is SO lightweight that the dust from it immediately spread into all of our vents. You can smell it absolutely pouring out of each vent in the house. And it's not just the smell of the litter, but of used litter. As we speak my entire house smells of cat urine.  If I could give this product negative stars, I would. Tidy Cats is our favorite brand of litter but this litter is absolutely the worst. 

I love that it is lightweight, but the smell is absolutely awful. I clean the box several times a day and it still stinks. Her box is in the laundry room and you can smell it through out the entire house. Keep working on it and I may try it again in the future.

When we bought this, we liked the light weight, but that's about as far as it goes. It does not mask the scent of feces or urine. There is also a strong perfumey odor that comes with the product. It stinks, and so does my cat.This is just torture. Threw out a half-used jug

I really didn't buy into the hype at first. I was working as a cashier and every time that the Light Weight tidy cat came through my line I was shocked at the difference in weigh between it and normal cat litters. I talked to each of the customers about how well it worked despite the weight difference and they were all hooked. Once I finally tried it I realized that the quality was what you expect from tidy cats and the weight made it far more convient that a traditional litter. I won't be switching from this litter any time soon.

I purchased this product approx 4 weeks ago. After initially loving the lightness of the litter, my delight quickly turned to disappointment. The litter sticks in between the pads on my cat's feet, as well as binding to her fur. She is 12 years old, and when I noticed her limping, I quickly checked it out. Imagine my surprise when I found all of this litter in her poor feet. I'm also concerned because she kept licking her feet to free herself of this litter, and I'm sure she ingested some along the way. I've also had it with the litter being all over my home. It's in the carpets, on the floors. No matter how often I sweep and vacuum, I'm constantly stepping on little pebbles. Not a good litter

Thank you! Please don't stop making it! I love the light weight and our kitten switched over to it fine, though she wouldn't use a natural paper litter. It's easy to scoop and controls odors great, even with only weekly scooping. If your cat is exceptionally stinky...you might check the food, not just the litter. We don't notice excess dust either.

Love, love the lighter weight. Negative need to use more and does not clump as perfectly as the orange lid Tidy Cat. Am on a budget At this point cannot quiete recomend. Need to try agai Otherwise recomend Tidy cats in general Nadia and Barnaby the diva cat

WORST litter I’ve ever used!! Used it with my litter robot and it was a total disaster. Stuck to my cat’s paws and she tracked sticky clay all over my floors and carpet. So disgusting. Takes forever to clump. Do not recommend. I’ll continue to use Dr. Elsey’s.

I loved the fact it is light weight. Less dust. Less tracking the litter around. He used it for 2 days then started coughing and pulled a towel down off the shelf near his box and used that instead. He refused to use the box till I put the multicat tidy cat litter back in. He loves that and so do I cause it covers the aroma from the box. It is just heavy when I buy the big box of it. Yes I have 1 cat but use multicat anyway.
