WE have 3 spoiled indoor cats. I love the light weight, it is much easier to scoop and has a pleasant smell. I really like the 17 pound bucket. With 3 cats and 2 litter boxes it is even easier to scoop. I'm very Pleased and if the cost would be a little less, that would be good!

Love the lightweight litter really great concept. But to say it is almost dust free is so wrong. Makes my apartment so dusty around the box area and I will be coughing while cleaning it out and for a while afterwards. The plume of dust that is visible while scooping is ridiculous. I have never had so much dust from any litter.

I used this for a few years without trying any other brand because I like the 17lb plastic box for keeping the used litter in until it's full. I have 3 cats and two litter boxes. This puts out so much dust that I finally decided to try a different brand. I got the new lower dust formula of Fresh Step. So much nicer. But if Tidy Cats comes out with a lower dust formula, I'll be back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I liked the light weight and the odor control properties of Tidy Cats Lightweight my cat did not. I found she was urinating outside the litter box frequently when we offered the light weight litter. We only buy Tidy Cats Performance 24/7 in the regular weight packaging, so it was discouraging to see her reaction to the light weight alternative.

I recently bought the 8 lb. container of tidy cat lightweight, first time using any tidy cat product. Love the small, lighter weight container. As a senior citizen I find the large containers nearly impossible to lift. The first time I filled the litter box with this product I noticed there was very little dust, very important for me, and it didn't have any odor or fragrance. All in all the best litter product I have ever used. Thanks.

Bought this for my mother and her cats. I wanted something that she could easily lift and carry into the house and around the litter boxes. Unfortunately, it is so light, that when poured into the litter box, it creates a cloud of dust. Another cloud of dust is created when the cats use the box.

I've tried many different brands of cat litter to save a buck, and every time I ALWAYS come back to TidyCats and swear I won't ever buy any other kind again. They have the BEST quality litter....very little to no ash/dust and the pellets are actually round balls unlike the cheaper kind that is little tiny dust grains. I never smell the litterbox and my cat never has any issues using it. Thanks Tidycats!

We tried this litter once. We went back to Tidy Cat, their other clumping ones, the 24/7, Instant Action, Dual Power. The LightWeight still tracked as much, maybe more, and the dust was not a good thing. Way too much dust, and surprising, since their other clumping litters are SO good!

I like the fact that It is light weight but the dust is getting to be too much. The dust is all over everything and I have a covered litter box. It is a great concept, but the dust is a fatal issue for me. The room where I have the litter box is small but the dust is all over the room. As for now, I am going back to the original Tidy Cats. Hopefully, you can find a way to deal with the dust issue and still keep the weight down.

After trying to get my cats to do number 2 in their litter box (they apparently hated all the cat litters I tried before), after I used Tidy Cats they started doing number 2 inside the litter box, instead of outside. Never had a problem with number 1. Anyway, we will be using Tidy Cats from now on.
