We tried using this product for about a month and it has been horrible. The light weight is great (especially with my bad back), but the trade off is in the amount of dust that this litter kicks up. Everything in the house gets covered in it after you go to clean the litter box. We even tried to be real careful while scooping, but it doesn't matter. After my cats use this litter they sneeze from the dust. We've made sure to wear masks while using this litter and have now gone back to using the original formula of the scoopable kind. All clay based litters kick up dust, but unfortunately this product produces a storm of it.

I have an automatic cat box (litter robot) that is activated 8 minutes after my cats leave the box. It rotates the ball shaped litter chamber, sifts the litter, then empties the clumpy remains into a bagged compartment at the bottom of the box. This litter, basically, turns the urine into mush that sticks to the bottom of the litter chamber. When the box is activated, the feces is emptied into the bagged compartment while the sticky mush is accumulating. At the end of the day, I find myself scraping what has now developed into a very stinky urine soaked mush.

Most importantly, my 2 cats like this litter. I appreciated the light weight and ease of pouring. The litter is not dusty and does not have a cloying fragrance. It clumps tightly and it is easy to maintain a clean litter box. Wnderful product!

This litter smells good and is lightweight to handle but it sticks to my cats paws and she tracks it EVERYWHERE! It’s driving me crazy. I’m vacuuming multiple times a day, and still finding it all over the place. Very disappointing. I liked the Member’s Mark litter so much better.

I have been trying different kitty litter for a few years. I would get recommendations from friends and online reviews. I finally tried the lightweight Tidy Cat and love it. I do not have to strain my back when putting it into and out of my car. I don't have to sit and smell cat litter while i watch TV. I could not be happier!

Makes transporting from downstairs to upstairs and box refills effortless! BUT unfortunately, my cats are used to the traditional heavier clumping litter and weren't big fans. My two 13 year old cats refused to use the box with trial litter but my 4 year old was game to be my tester. The texture feels comparable to mini styrofoam beads so it made it tougher to "properly cover/bury". I think my older cats prefer the feel of the course sand they're used to instead...

I was intrigued by the lightweight claim. It's true, the product is much lighter than the traditional clumping litter, but there's much room for debate when it comes to the 99.9% dust free claim. This is by far the most dusty litter I've ever used! My laundry room is coated in dust. I wold not recommend this product based simply on the dust production factor.

I bought the Light Weight Tidy Cat Litter because I had a coupon. It was the best purchase I've made in a long time. It takes care of the odor immediately and is so easy to scoop. The waste is much more lightweight and easier to dispose of. I also use less in the box for my multiple cats. Just wish it were a little less expensive.

I bought a jug of the new light weight litter and blended it in with our other Tidy Cats. I have 5 cats. The youngest at 1.5 yrs is walking the edge of the pan , sniffing the box. Won't go in.. The others are happy using the 2 boxes with the regular clumping and 4 boxes of Tidy Cat clay . Have not seen much activity in the new litter! It does have a very strong perfumey smell, I think our cats don't care for.
