I bought this Cat litter just a few weeks ago for my finicky kitty, and I sure am glad I did! It was the difference of day and night. My kitty was going outside the box even though I have tried changing litter before. My kitty loves this litter! All problems gone!!

This litter is so light that it sticks to my cats feet and he leaves it all over the house. I don't think it works as well as the regular Tidy Cats that I had been using. The worst part about Lightweight is the dust. When I clean the litterbox, the amount of dust generated is much greater than with regular Tidy Cats, and I don't think it works as well either. I will not buy this product again!!!

I was so excited to try a lightweight litter.  I have always used Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance.  I have used the lightweight litter for a month and it is a joke.  It tracks everywhere and is no where near 99.9% Dust Free.  It is by far the dustiest litter I have ever tried.  I am going back to the 24/7 Performance immediately.  I wish I could get my money back.

The answer is no. Although it is easy to carry a bucket home from the store, that is the only advantage. It does not control odor as well as regular weight litter, plus being lightweight, more litter sticks to kitties paws and is tracked around. Plus when I scoop it a cloud of dust appears, and heaven forbid if I shake the litter box to bring up the clumps a bigger cloud of dust goes everywhere. I have always bought tidy cat litter but R and D needs to go back to the drawing board for this. Surely they did not try using this in their own homes. So buy tidy cat regular weight.

I was excited to receive this because my husband and I just switched to this litter. The biggest thing is that my mother said the area where we keep the litter box didnt smell anymore and also this litter is so much more easier to handle and poor. We definitely will continue using.

This is litter is great as far as weighing less. Perfect for people who can't lift much. However, it is so lightweight my cat tracked it everywhere! I never had that kind of tracking problem with the other clumping litter. I have 2 litter boxes--upstairs and down--and my cat preferred the box upstairs with the other clumping litter. Sorry, but I won't be purchasing this again.

Purchased this when my cat's old litter ran out. At first I appreciated the lightweight and fine litter. However it smells very strongly of fruity- almost like Starbursts in the cat box. Almost immediately, my cat started defecating right outside the box and not urinating in the box as much as he had been. Then I found he had decided to preferentially urinate on the dog's beds instead! Ruined two dog beds in 2 weeks before I was able to get his old litter despite scooping his litterbox twice daily. As soon as I went back to his old non-scented clumping clay litter his litterbox habits returned to normal. This litter also sticks to his paws so I was finding little grey paw prints on my coffee table, 2 rooms away from his litter box. Maybe he would have used this more if it didn't have such a potent fruit odor to it. Even I wrinkled my nose every time I would pass the litterbox.

Worst litter I have ever had. My cats track this all over the house and furniture with white prints. I have had to wash the floors every single day. In 14 years this has never happened until I bought this litter. Tidy? Is that a joke? I’m not laughing. Never again.

I love that there is a light weight formula. Tidy Cats is my preferred litter brand and sometimes the heavier tubs of litter are too difficult to lift on my own. It is priced higher but that's understandable as it more convenient to carry and lift. No more hurting my back trying to fill litter boxes!

I bought this litter because I had a coupons I would not ever but again I is awful dusty does not cover odor I might as well put sand in the boxes it does not scoop well at all breaks up worst than cheap litter. Why do you keep trying to reinvent the wheel The litter was better before.
