I bought this 1 week ago and replaced all the litter in my cat's litter box. We had before been using the regular Tidy Cats 24/7 product and love it, but decided to try the LightWeight formula (had back surgery a while back and thought we'd give this a go so I could actually lift the carton instead of my husband)....really wishing we hadn't! The first few days were ok but then we started noticing clumps of litter throughout our apartment. Then we started noticing little clumps of litter sticking to the walls right by his litter box. Then we noticed little smeared footprints on our couch and linoleum floors from the litter after he used his box. Definitely going back to the original as that one actually did what the container said it would!! I would recommend Tidy Cats, but NOT the LightWeight formula!

New cat owner! Now have two kittens and when they would use the litter box their business would smell so horrible!! Tried a few different brands of litter and nothing seemed to work, really only tried this product because of the GLADE in it, and first time the kittens used it I couldn't even smell that they used their litter box, had friends and family over and they couldn't smell the litter box either!! absolutely amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the container as it is easy to carry and is lightweight. When I pour the litter in the cat box there was no dust. When changing the cat box there was very little smell and no mess left in the cat box. This is a great litter, if you try it you will really be happy and so will your cat.

I bought this last week when it was time to change the litter in the box. I was pleased to be able to carry it to my car without getting a strained muscle. However, that is where the "I like" ends. The very first morning when I went to clean the litter box and feed the cat, I found a huge mess. Litter was scattered all over the floor, tracked onto furniture, and still stuck to my beautiful black cat. It seems that any amount of static electricity makes it magnetically cling to his fur. There are lots of other litters on the market which match its clumping ability, scoop-ability and fresh fragrance and cost less. It isn't worth the extra effort and expense. I will not be buying it again.

This stuff is great if you are really bothered by how heavy kitty litter is, when you are carrying it home from the store. However, once you get it home, it is the difference between putting fish tank gravel (traditional litter) or styrofoam packing peanuts (this stuff) in your cat's poopy box. These light weight pellets will be found in places farther from the cat box than you have ever had litter tracked before... in different rooms of the house, on your bathmat, under the covers in your bed, on your pillow, on the kitchen counter, and I guarantee that if you check your cat, you will find some between toes and probably clinging to butt fur. If waking up with kitty litter in your hair, or brushing kitty litter off your kitchen counter while you make a salad, is okay with you... then by all means, enjoy Tidy Cats Light Weight. Otherwise, NOPE.

I bought this because it is light weight and when we have kitty camping it seems like long distances to carry the traditional buckets. The fragrance out of the bucket is so overpowering we has to go back to traditional clumping litter. The containers don't indicate it is a scented product. I would recommend opening the smaller container and smelling it before purchasing. I have a bucket that I can't use.

Unfortunately, it was too good to be true. We had kitty litter EVERYWHERE! Carpets, floors, beds, couches, etc. Kitties (2) had kitty litter feet! Too light = dusty, dusty, dusty. Really wish this would have worked. I loved being able to lift it, but not worth it.

This is definitely lightweight, which is great, but odor control is just ok. However, the litter goes everywhere. I guess because it is lightweight the cats drag it from one end of the house to the other. I found pieces of litter everywhere. The box that it comes in is a nightmare. It’s just a giant bag in the box and it ended at ripping at one and half of the litter spilled everywhere. This was my second box. After that happened, I was just done with it went back to the old litter I used.

I had told Tidy on FB that I loved the sample but knowing that they get tons of messages I will be more than happy to tell them again! Clumps well, easy to carry and pour. I have 4 cats that are champion litter kickers and this stayed in the box. I would buy it again for sure.
